The big tech firms could be tempted to hold onto their cash to guard against the economic turmoil created by President Donald Trump ’s tariff policies. However, buybacks remain attractive because companies like Microsoft Corp., Amazon.com Inc. and Apple Inc. are sitting on piles of cash worth north of...

The Texas-based show is filming its second season in Fort Worth. According to JD's Hamburgers owner Gigi Howell, the show has brought more attention and business to the restaurant. "We get a lot of crew members that come over and eat with us," said Howell. "You'll see people in the parking lot set up, taking photos over there. You see people stop by and...

AT&T Inc. crushed subscriber expectations in its first quarter, while saying Wednesday that it plans to restart buybacks sooner than expected.

Wireless investors got a bit nervous in March when AT&T T and Verizon Communications Inc. VZ warned of soft postpaid subscriber trends early in the year. Analysts tracked by FactSet were modeling 255,000.

For decades, New York’s Hudson Valley has been something of a local secret. Yes, New Yorkers know it—they’ve been vying for reservations at Blue Hill at Stone Barns and hunting for antiques in Beacon for years. But ask Londoners or Parisians to name a single town or hotel in the region and they’ll likely draw a blank. It’s not the Cotswolds—yet. Now Philippe Zuber, the French chief executive officer of hospitality development firm Kerzner International, hopes to spark global curiosity about the bucolic Manhattanites’ escape, giving it the same illustrious...
