By John Gable and…, 16 October, 2013
As an Onion headline said, the whole nation could probably draw John Boehner's face from memory by now. But, get ready to see others faces in the headlines soon.

Snippet from the Center
Congress moves toward vote on budget deal, Politico
“It’s obvious that we are now seeing the end of this agonizing odyssey that this body has been put through, but far more importantly, the American people have been put through. It’s one of the more shameful chapters that I have seen in the years that I have spent here in the Senate,” said Sen. JohnMcCain (R-Ariz.).The fact that House Republicans are now planning to take take up the Senate bill marks a stunning reversal for the speaker who had backed his conservative wing’s drive to gut Obamacare as part of the government shutdown fight...

Snippet from the Right
Boehner says House will take up Senate budget plan, Fox News
House Speaker John Boehner said Wednesday that the House "absolutely" will take up the new Senate budget plan -- even if he has to rely on mostly Democrats to pass it -- and that he expects the partial government shutdown to end by Thursday.
…The big question had been whether, if it passes the Senate, Boehner would allow it to come to the floor. Though many Republicans remain resistant to the plan, it could potentially pass with a combination of moderate Republicans and Democrats.

Snippet from the Left

Boehner Supports Deal, but Says G.O.P. ‘Fight Will Continue' New York Times
House Speaker John A. Boehner threw his weight on Wednesday behind the Senate deal to reopen the government and avert a default. He pledged to continue fighting President Obama’s health care law, but in a different manner. "That fight will continue. But blocking the bipartisan agreement reached today by the members of the Senate will not be a tactic for us. In addition to the risk of default, doing so would open the door for the Democratic majority in Washington to raise taxes again on the American people and undo the spending caps in the 2011 Budget Control Act without replacing them with better spending cuts."
What's in the deal? We found deal highlights on CNN here.
