Announcing version 10.1 of the AllSides Media Bias Chart!

We just released version 10 of the bias chart last month, ahead of the Nov. 2024 election, but our bias reviews are constantly ongoing. We made changes to the Associated Press and The Guardian's bias ratings that are now reflected in version 10.1: both were moved from the Lean Left bias category to Left, following extensive review by Americans and a politically balanced, expert panel.

In addition, we added Upward News (Lean Right), a conservative news outlet, to bias chart V10.1.

Learn more about AP and The Guardian's shifts from Lean Left to Left here. A blind survey of 871 Americans across the political spectrum contributed to the AP rating.
