United Auto Workers at the Ford Kentucky Truck Plant walked off the job Wednesday evening, joining the more than 16,000 UAW Ford employees currently striking across the country. The call by UAW President Shawn Fain for a targeted strike of an estimated 9,000 workers came late with no warning at the Kentucky Truck Plant in Louisville. Around 7:15 p.m., Ford workers started gathering outside the KTP plant on Chamberlain Lane to man picket lines that lasted through the night and into Thursday morning.
