
The Butte Miners played four games over the weekend at the Harold Gjerde Memorial Tournament in Lewistown. After an opening round defeat to the Havre Northstars on Thursday, 10-7, the Miners rattled off three consecutive wins to improve to 12-2 overall on the season. Butte only needed six innings to defeat the Lewistown Redbirds on Friday, winning 11-1 with the run-rule going into effect.
