The Seattle Times
The Seattle Times is the most widely circulated daily newspaper in the Pacific Northwest. It was founded in 1891 and has been owned and operated by the Blethen family since 1896.
Held every year on the last weekend of June, the Timberbowl Rodeo has taken place at the rodeo grounds in Darrington since 1962.
The rodeo features staples such as bull riding, ranch saddle bronc, barrel racing and wild cow milking as well as kid-friendly events like a chicken chase and a pool noodle “horse” race.
This year’s edition was held under overcast skies and partial views of Whitehorse Mountain.
