
Sen. John McCain does not support a floor vote in the Senate on Chuck Hagels nomination to be secretary of defense until the Obama administration answers more questions about the attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, Libya, his spokesman said Wednesday.
Mr. Hagel, a former senator from Nebraska, is scheduled to come before the full Senate this week, as Democrats attempt to secure 60 votes to overcome a possible filibuster and push President Obamas pick to the finish line. But Mr. McCain is just one of a number of Republicans contending they still dont yet have enough information to make a decision.
