Scriberr Media - News
AllSides gives Scriberr Media's news section a Center rating. In June 2020, two AllSides editors conducted independent reviews and and both rated Scriberr Media's news section as center for their thorough, balanced reporting, and disuse of emotionalism, sensationalism, slant and media bias. Note that Center doesn't mean better! A Center media bias rating does not necessarily mean a source is unbiased, neutral, perfectly reasonable, or credible. It simply means the source or writer rated does not predictably publish perspectives favoring either end of the political spectrum — conservative or liberal. This media bias rating only refers to the news section at Scriberr Media and not their opinion/editorial section. AllSides rates the media bias for Scriberr Media's opinion/editorial section as Lean Right; the articles tend to focus on perspectives and topics that are more in line with/of interest to the right, though there are some perspectives from other sides present. Scriberr Media is a nonpartisan free speech media company based in Los Angeles, California. According to their website, Scriberr's mission is to provide original reporting that "report the truth fully and give all sides to controversial, political issues so that readers can decide for themselves where they align." Founded in 2019, it is independently owned by Jamie Joseph, Michael Ayetiwa and Kalen D'Almeida.
A prosecutor did not file charges against the police officer who shot Jacob Blake in the back in Kenosha, Wisconsin in Aug. 2020.
Kenosha County District Attorney Michael Graveley said in a press conference Tuesday that he was unable to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that police officer, Rusten Sheskey, was not acting in self-defense when he shot Blake.
“I do not believe the state … would be able to prove that the privilege of self-defense is not available,” Graveley said.
