California health officials on Friday unveiled a system for residents to obtain a digital copy of their COVID-19 vaccine record, allowing individuals to prove they are fully vaccinated if needed.
The state's website instructs individuals to provide their name, date of birth and cell phone number or email address to get a QR code and digital copy of their vaccination record.
"If you want to share your proof of vaccination, you can use either the electronic version you’ll get from the portal or the card you were given at time of vaccination,” the website states.
