The pedestrian hit by a car over the weekend in Northeast Portland’s Madison South neighborhood has died, police said Tuesday. Federico Pedro Pascual, 52, was hit by the driver of a Toyota Sequoia SUV around 2 a.m. Saturday at Northeast Halsey Street and 92nd Avenue. The driver, Nicole M. Land, 23, of Milwaukie, remained at the scene. She was arrested and faces reckless driving, driving under the influence of intoxicants and other charges, police said.
