FutureFuel began the restart of its biodiesel plant this week after two delays.

The chemicals and biofuels manufacturer said Wednesday other processes at the facility ramped up in early March.

It started conducting scheduled annual maintenance and turnaround of its biodiesel plant in Batesville, Ark., in December 2024. That proved to be more extensive than expected. The turnaround efforts were twice delayed, in part due to severe weather in January. FutureFuel said in February biodiesel production wouldn't start until the end of March at the earliest.

Smitty," now spends time on the seas with aspiring whale watchers, or scattering the ashes of the deceased -- whatever it takes to stay afloat since salmon fishing was barred in California two years ago because of...

President Donald Trump's tariffs on Canadian steel and aluminum and repeated comments that Canada should become the 51st state have infuriated Canadians, and many are boycotting American goods in response. "What's going on in Canada is without precedent. The threat is over and...

AUSTIN, Texas -- A Texas lawmaker who helped pioneer the state's restrictive abortion laws introduced a bill on Friday to clarify medical exceptions allowed under the law, representing a pivot from Republican legislators who have defended the state's abortion ban in the face of lawsuits and medical scrutiny. The bill, introduced by Republican state Sen. Bryan Hughes, would still require that patients have a medical emergency for a physician to perform...
