INDIANAPOLIS — A shooting on the near west side of Indianapolis left one person in serious condition Sunday night. According to an Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department media notification, officers responded to the 900 block of Warren Avenue on a report of a person shot. When police arrived at the scene, they located a victim with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. One person was hurt in a shooting on South Bend’s west side.

Officers were called around 4 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 16, to the 700 block of North Cleveland Avenue where they found one victim with apparent gunshot wounds.

The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The South Bend Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit is leading the investigation. So far, there’s no information about what led to the shooting or any suspects or arrests.
