Ex-Sanctuary Cities Are Trying to Ban Migrant Buses
How do you cope with a massive illegal alien invasion? You can build a wall or you can ban buses. New York City and Chicago are probably around the point where they might sign off on a wall, but since the national party is still committed to demographic transformation through open borders, they have to settle for trying to do something about the buses. Officially they claim that they’re trying to stop Texas Gov. Abbott and Florida Gov. DeSantis from busing migrants to their cities, but the reality (one that...
Dem Mayors Renew Pleas to Feds For Help With Migrants
The Democrat mayors of Chicago, New York and Denver renewed pleas Wednesday for more federal help and coordination with Texas over the growing number of asylum-seekers arriving in their cities by bus and airplane. The mayors' requests came as U.S. cities have struggled to manage the increasing number of migrants sent from Texas and other states. Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott's busing operation has transported more than 80,000 migrants to Democrat-led cities since last year. His administration recently stepped up the practice with chartered airplanes.
NYC Mayor Sets Bus Arrival Protocol After Migrant Flight Chaos
New York City Mayor Eric Adams issued an executive order Wednesday mandating that charter bus companies transporting migrants must provide a 32-hour notice before reaching the city. The directive restricts arrivals to the window of 8:30 a.m. to noon, Monday through Friday, with a single designated drop-off location unless otherwise specified by the city, ABC7NY reported. The executive order was prompted by chaos Tuesday night after Texas Gov. Greg Abbott booked an "unannounced and uncoordinated" flight carrying approximately 180 migrants from El Paso, Texas, to Kennedy Airport.
NYC Mayor Adams announces order to limit bus arrivals of migrants into the city
Democratic New York City Mayor Eric Adams issued an executive order on Wednesday, requesting that buses transporting migrants into the city arrive only between 8:30 a.m. and noon on weekdays at one drop off site. "We cannot allow buses with people needing our help to arrive without warning at any hour of day and night," Adams said during a virtual news conference. "This not only prevents us from providing assistance in an orderly way, it puts those who have already suffered so much in danger." A bus must also give...
