Vice president and likely Democratic nominee Kamala Harris has been goading Donald Trump to debate her for the last several days and told reporters as recently as Thursday that she is ā€œready to debate Donald Trump,ā€ even as she accused him of ā€œbackpedalingā€ on the original agreement for a second president debate on Sept. 10. On Thursday night, Trump made it official: He’s too afraid to debate Harris. The Trump campaign posted this on their campaign website: Given the continued political chaos surrounding Crooked Joe Biden and the Democrat Party,...

The Trump campaign won't agree to a general election debate with Vice President Kamala Harris until she is the official Democrat nominee, reports The Hill. "Given the continued political chaos surrounding Crooked Joe Biden and the Democrat Party, general election debate details cannot be finalized until Democrats formally decide on their nominee," Trump communications director Steven Cheung said in a statement.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Kamala Harris spent much of Wednesday engaging with Black women voters in Indianapolis during a speech in front of members of the Zeta Phi Beta sorority. The National Pan-Hellenic Council, the Divine 9, announced an unprecedented registration campaign. The Divine 9 represents over 2.5 million members from historically Black fraternities and sororities with chapters in every major U.S city, and it has a significant history of mobilizing political participation. Expansive reach that could prove crucial in the 2024 election. ā€œAll over social media, TikTok, Instagram.

Photo: Brandon Bell/Getty Images The Trump campaign said Thursday evening it couldn't commit to a presidential debate with Vice President Kamala Harris "until Democrats formally decide on their nominee." The big picture: Jason Miller, a senior adviser to the Trump campaign, told Axios earlier Thursday that a debate with Harris "will happen" and there ""should be multiple debates," though he said the GOP presidential nominee's team was "non-committal" to the Sept.

The Trump campaign said on Thursday it would be ā€œinappropriateā€ to schedule presidential debates so long as the Democrats have any confusion about their prospective nominee. In a statement released on Thursday, Steven Cheung, Trump Campaign Communications Director, said Democrats would need to settle on a nominee before a debate can be agreed upon. ā€œGiven the continued political chaos surrounding Crooked Joe Biden and the Democrat Party, general election debate details cannot be finalized until Democrats formally decide on their nominee,ā€ said the statement.

Just what one would expect from a big-government California socialist. The lead Wall Street Journal editorial today reads: ā€œIn her campaign debut, Kamala Harris steers left.ā€ Nobody should be shocked at this. She talked about student loan cancellations, new entitlements for health care, child care, and seniors. A more progressive culture war. Banning guns. Overriding state abortion limits. Of course tax hikes on successful earners and businesses. Oh, and let’s not forget the ban on oil and gas fracking. All this befits a good solid left-liberal progressive from San Francisco....

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) – Data obtained by 8News shows that voter registration in Virginia is on the rise after President Joe Biden dropped out of the race for President and Vice President Kamala Harris announced her plans to seek the Democratic nomination for president. ā€œParticularly Democrats are excited that there is a new face to the party, a new candidate that doesn’t have the age baggage that Joe Biden had,ā€ 8News Political Analyst, Rich Meagher explained. Data from the Virginia Department of Elections shows that on Monday and Tuesday (7/22...

ā€˜Her message is perfect for this moment’: VP Harris has flipped the 2024 election on its head

Kim Atkins Stohr, Senior Opinion Writer and Columnist for The Boston Globe, Claire McCaskill, former Senator from Missouri and Charlie Sykes, MSNBC Contributor and Columnist joins Nicolle Wallace on Deadline White House to discuss how Kamala Harris is offering a positive message that is forward looking while Donald Trump continues to relitigate the past and flounder in his own grudges.

Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump are neck and neck in the race for the White House, according to new nationwide polling. The latest New York Times/Siena Poll, conducted after President Biden dropped out of the race on Sunday, shows Harris trailing Trump by only a single percentage point among likely voters asked who they would choose if the election was held on the day they took the survey (July 22-24). Harris trails Trump by 2% among all 1,142 registered voters who responded to the poll, but...
