Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter has filed a defamation lawsuit against the unidentified woman who withdrew her rape lawsuit against the hip-hop mogul, alleging that the woman and her legal team made "false and malicious claims” to extort the rapper for financial gain. Carter's lawsuit, which was filed on Monday in Alabama, accuses the woman and her attorneys, Tony Buzbee and David Fortney, of being "soullessly motivated by greed, in abject disregard of the truth and the most fundamental precepts of human decency," The New York Times reported. The suit also states...

Jay-Z sues woman who dropped rape claim against him Jay-Z is suing a woman who in February withdrew her legal action accusing the rapper of rape. His defamation action claims she "voluntarily admitted" being pressured into making false claims in what it describes as an "evil conspiracy" to extort money and damage his reputation. The anonymous woman filed her legal action in October and refiled it in December, accusing Jay-Z, real name Shawn Carter, and Sean "Diddy" Combs of raping her aged 13, after the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards....

Billionaire rap mogul Shawn Carter, better known as Jay-Z, filed a lawsuit Monday against an unnamed Alabama woman who accused him and rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs of raping her in a now-withdrawn complaint. The suit also names the woman’s lawyers, Tony Buzbee and David Fortney, and claims the defendants knew the allegations were false when they undertook “malevolent efforts to assassinate” Carter’s character. In the court filing, Carter alleges that the woman and her lawyers were “motivated by greed, in abject disregard of the truth and the most fundamental precepts...

Jay-Z and his legal team aren't letting his sexual assault accuser go down easy. On Monday, Jay-Z filed a lawsuit against Jane Doe and her attorneys, Anthony Buzbee and David Fortney, as well as Buzbee's law firm, after she dropped her sexual assault suit against the rapper and Sean "Diddy" Combs in February. According to documents obtained by Fox News Digital, Jay-Z's legal team called Jane Doe's suit "false, malicious, strategically and tactically calculated and timed to inflict maximum pain and suffering on Mr. Carter." Jay-Z's lawsuit alleges that Jane...

Jay-Z has filed a hard-hitting new defamation and malicious prosecution lawsuit against the Alabama-based Jane Doe who publicly accused him of a sexual assault involving Sean Combs but then later admitted inconsistencies in her story and voluntarily dismissed her lawsuit last month. In his new lawsuit filed Monday and obtained by Rolling Stone, Jay-Z says the woman and her lawyers — Tony Buzbee and David Fortney — engaged in an “evil conspiracy” to extort him with the “completely fabricated” and “wildly horrific” claim that he raped Doe alongside Combs in...
