Last night a weak cold front moved across the area. It didn’t bring much rain, but it did shift the winds from the southwest to the northwest. This is a cool direction, but temperatures won’t be that cool today. Morning temperatures in the 40s and 50s will rise to the mid and upper 50s this afternoon. Skies will be partly cloudy with a breezy northwest wind 10-15 mph. Light rain and showers will move into southern middle Tennessee early Sunday morning. Areas north of I-40 will likely stay completely dry...

SATURDAY: Turning out mostly sunny but still brisk and somewhat chilly. High: 43 "Spring ahead" weekend will be dry mostly sunny skies and seasonable cold temperatures Saturday to partly sunny and seasonable temperatures Sunday. A chilly breeze will pick back up for Saturday and then diminish on Sunday, and that wind will help to usher in the coolest temps for the next several days with Saturday high temperatures struggling to get any warmer than the low 40s. The chilly air will be short-lived however, as a week-long warmup awaits next...

Dry and breezy weather to kick off the weekend, with the threat for fire weather spread. Gusty winds diminish overnight, with clouds moving in and the slight chance for a passing rain or snow shower. Lows will be in the mid-30s. Clouds on Saturday morning give way to sunshine and gusty winds for the afternoon. With the dry and breezy conditions, any fires that start can spread quickly. Expect less wind on Sunday, with nice weather and highs in the upper-40s. Don't forget to turn your clocks ahead one hour...

TONIGHT: Increasing clouds with a few rain and snow showers possible later. Low: 32 SATURDAY: Turning out mostly sunny but still brisk and somewhat chilly. High: 43 It was definitely a bright end to the work and school week, but also a somewhat chilly day as high temperatures topped out around seasonable levels between 45 and 50 degrees to go along with a stiff westerly breeze gusting between 30 and 40mph for much of the day. Winds will gradually subside this evening and we're tracking a small chance for a...

Do you have weekend plans outside? Saturday will be the day to get things done outside. Mostly clear to partly cloudy skies Friday night with light patchy fog near and along Highway 301 to I-75 and north to the Suwannee. Some fog may nudge into southeast Georgia near Fargo and the Okefenokee Swamp around sunrise. Partly cloudy and warmer Saturday with increasing clouds late. A slight chance of showers possible late Saturday night with rain moving in on Sunday. Widespread rounds of rain with thunderstorms will continue Sunday night and...

Southern New Englanders are being blown away by the gusty northwest winds between 45-60 mph! Unfortunately, the northwest flow persists through this evening before gradually diminishing tonight. Winds will be fairly light initially on Saturday, but a weak wave of energy passing to our south reinvigorates the gusty conditions by the afternoon. Although gusts will not be as strong as Friday, sustained winds 15-25 mph make for less than ideal conditions to be outside in for an extended period. Saturday sets a low bar, making Sunday the pick of the...
