Coming to terms with Donald Trump’s position on early voting should be relatively straightforward. It’s not. A few weeks ago, for example, the former president held an event in Minnesota, where he condemned early voting as “ridiculous.” This week, as a Washington Post report noted, the Republican changed his mind again. In an online video promoting the initiative, the presumptive GOP nominee said, “Many Republicans like to vote on Election Day, and we must swamp the radical Democrats with massive turnout on Tuesday, November 5th. The way you win is...

At this early stage, polls indicate that the great majority of Americans will not be influenced by the show trial at New York. For 18 months I have predicted that the next presidential election will be in large measure a referendum between those who are so pathologically hostile to President Trump that they will tolerate any means to keep him from returning to the White House, and those who are so appalled at the corruption of the legal and political systems by the Democrats that they are prepared to vote...

The conviction of President Trump is monumental and may be the most important political event of the 2024 election. Across the spectrum of conservative thought, voters and pundits alike are outraged at the brazen political stunt orchestrated by the Democrat lawfare complex. Despite its national importance, Trump’s conviction is only the most publicized symptom of a profound national rot. If you’re enraged about the Democrats’ brazen lawfare against Trump, you must actively engage in the political war raging all around the country. There is political conflict at every level —...

For many Republicans, words aren’t enough to deal with what they see as a threat to Americans’ fundamental freedoms and the judicial system—they want action. WASHINGTON—With the initial shock of former President Donald Trump’s conviction on 34 felony counts in New York City wearing down, some conservatives in Congress are looking ahead for ways they can respond. But for many Republicans, words aren’t enough to deal with what they see as a threat to Americans’ fundamental freedoms and the judicial system meant to protect them—they want to see action. But...

From the beginning of his misadventures in politics, Donald Trump has opposed any form of voting other than a same day presence at a physical polling place. He has insisted that all forms of early voting and mail-in balloting are schemes contrived by Democrats to contaminate elections with fraud. Click here to Tweet this article As a result of his relentless anti-early and mail-in voting campaign, Trump's glassy-eyed cult disciples now refuse to dirty themselves with the practice that their Dear Leader has decreed is infected with nasty, democratic corruption....

WASHINGTON — Former President Donald Trump’s conviction last week may not have much impact on the 2024 race, according to a new poll, as the verdict has not largely shifted the minds of voters. The 19th News/SurveyMonkey poll, conducted between May 30 and May 31, found that 9% of survey respondents are planning on changing their vote in the 2024 race after hearing the verdict. However, the percentage voting for each candidate remains the same. Three percent of respondents would change their vote to Trump, while 3% changed their vote...
