FOX News contributor Jonathan Turley said Friday that Hunter Biden will likely not face jail time for his gun charges because he is a first offender. He told "America's Newsroom" that Hunter could also face other indictments following the gun charges. HUNTER BIDEN INDICTED: CRITICS CRY FOUL OVER WEISS BRINGING ONLY CASE NOT CONNECTED TO JOE JONATHAN TURLEY: I said when the indictment came out that first of all, the 25-year period is unrealistic. He's [Hunter Biden] a first offender. But more importantly, these are not going to be daisy...

The indictment of President Joe Biden’s son Hunter on three felony gun charges caused a splash, but a much bigger legal bombshell is expected to drop soon. Hunter Biden will likely face federal tax charges for allegedly failing to pay taxes on $4.4 million in income he made in 2017 and 2018 from a Ukrainian energy company, a Chinese private equity firm, and other sources. It’s those kinds of business activities that House Republicans are putting at the center of an impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden and hope to make...

Gun advocacy groups are hailing the firearms charges that have been brought against Hunter Biden, even though they oppose the laws the president's son is charged with breaking. One, the Gun Owners of America, noted that President Joe Biden has been advocating for tougher gun safety laws. “Gun Owners of America opposes all gun control, but so long as this President continues to use every tool at his disposal to harass and criminalize guns, gun owners and gun dealers, his son should be receiving the same treatment and scrutiny as...

Hunter Biden’s indictment this week on charges related to an alleged gun crime has resurfaced concerns about how law enforcement handled the incident in 2018 when it occurred. The president’s son faces three federal charges for allegedly lying on paperwork he filled out to buy a firearm from a gun store in Delaware. On the purchase forms, Hunter Biden stated that he was not addicted to an illegal substance, even though he went on to detail how severely he was abusing drugs at that time in a 2021 memoir and...

On Thursday, Hunter Biden was formally charged with three felony violations related to his purchase of a firearm in 2018. Should he be found guilty on all three charges, President Joe Biden’s son faces up to $750,000 in fines and a potential 25 years in prison. There is absolutely no doubt that Hunter Biden was using cocaine when he filled out an ATF firearms transaction record. There’s no doubt that he lied about this both when he filled out the form and when he affirmed to the dealer that the...

Harvard Law professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz, in an interview with Newsmax, predicted Hunter Biden will work out a plea deal and avoid standing trial on gun charges, during an appearance on Friday's "National Report." "There's not going to be a full-blown trial," he said. "There will be a plea bargain. This was a tactic to just raise the ante. The plea bargain, I predict, will be as follows: Biden will admit to the facts underlying these three charges; admit that he lied; admit that he owned a gun while he...

CNN anchor Erin Burnett pointed out the “serious charges” against Hunter Biden carry sentences of up to “a quarter-century of prison time!” — but also described the “shaky ground” they rest on. News broke Thursday afternoon that Special Counsel Davis Weiss has secured a grand jury indictment against Hunter Biden on three charges related to his purchase of a firearm. Burnett prefaced her interview with Hunter Biden attorney Abbe Lowell on Thursday night’s edition of CNN’s OutFront by laying out the “very serious” charges — and the constitutional jeopardy those...

Former White House press secretary Jen Psaki said President Joe Biden is a “heartbroken president” amid his son Hunter’s indictment and House Republicans’ impeachment inquiry. Hunter Biden was indicted on three counts Thursday for providing false statements and knowingly possessing a gun while addicted to drugs in October 2018, according to the partially redacted court filing from the Department of Justice (DOJ).

Calls are growing for Democrats to find an alternative to President Biden before the next election. With the first primary contests a few months away, is it too late for them to find a viable replacement?

The short answer is no, but time is running out.

Biden would either need to face a serious primary challenge now or decide to step down later. Either method would make history in the modern era.

Pathway 1: The Democratic primary

Hunter Biden was indicted on federal gun charges on Thursday in a Delaware court related to his possession of a firearm while using drugs. As attorney Mike Davis later explained this was just more coverup by Delaware US Attorney David Weiss to protect the Biden Crime Family and bury evidence of the family’s alleged multi-million dollar bribery schemes. Davis continued, “Weiss’s charges today continue his deceptive pattern–for years–of protecting Hunter. More troubling, Weiss is protecting President Biden.
