A “nonbinary” Antifa agitator was arrested in Alabama Wednesday for allegedly detonating an explosive device outside the Alabama Attorney General’s Office back in February. Kyle Benjamin Douglas Calvert, 26, of Irondale, was charged with “malicious use of an explosive and possession of an unregistered destructive device,” the Department of Justice announced in a press release. Calvert allegedly constructed an IED with screws and nails and detonated it outside the Republican AG’s Office on February 24. “No injuries or major damage to nearby buildings were reported.

An Alabama man has been charged for his alleged role in detonating an explosive device outside of the Alabama Attorney General’s Office in February, the Department of Justice (DOJ) announced. Law enforcement arrested Kyle Benjamin Douglas Calvert, 26, on April 10 on charges of malicious use of an explosive and possession of an unregistered destructive device, according to the DOJ. The explosive device detonated near the intersection of Washington Avenue and South Bainbridge Street, outside of Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall’s office in downtown Montgomery at around 3:42 a.m.

An Antifa activist has been indicted for his involvement in detonating an explosive device at the office of the Alabama attorney general, facing up to 20 years in prison if convicted. Kyle Benjamin Douglas Calvert, a 26-year-old resident of Irondale, was arrested Wednesday and charged with malicious use of an explosive and possessing an unregistered destructive device. “The Justice Department has no tolerance for acts of violence targeting those who serve the public,” said U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland in a statement released Wednesday. “Thanks to the work of the...

Three months ago, Donald Trump took the stand before a jury of nine in a New York courtroom without his typical bombast or ranting. The former president’s complaints about the case and his sparring with the judge took place out of the jury’s sight in the E. Jean Carroll defamation case, and he gave quick, scripted testimony lasting about three minutes. The following day, however, Trump found a way to protest the trial with the jury’s eyes on him, storming out during the closing argument delivered by Carroll’s lawyer. “The...

Well, this is a weird twist. First let me bring you up to speed on the backstory. Back in 2019, 23-year-old Sean Kealiher was having drinks with a couple friends at an anarchist bar called Cider Riot. Kealiher was a well known locally as an Antifa activist. After leaving the bar, Kealiher got into some kind of confrontation. A car driven by a then-unknown person drove into him on the sidewalk and people believed to have been with Kealiher fired shots at the car. Kealiher himself was taken to the...

The city of Seattle announced on Wednesday a $10 million settlement with a group of 50 BLM and Antifa rioters. The rioters sued the city and the Seattle Police Department (SPD) for injuries they claimed were a result of police actions during the 2020 riots following the death of career criminal George Floyd during an arrest in Minneapolis. The personal injury law firm Stritmatter Kessler Koehler Moore represented the claimants. “Among the 50 Peaceful Protesters represented by Stritmatter Kessler Koehler Moore was Aubreanna Inda, who was standing still peacefully when...

Elections offices in at least five states have been sent envelopes containing white powder along with what one police official called a “vague” message about stopping elections. Offices in California, Georgia, Nevada, Oregon and Washington received the letters, four of which contained trace amounts of fentanyl, according to The Washington Post. The letters were received Wednesday and Thursday. Linda Farmer, auditor in Pierce County, Washington, showed images of the envelope and letter sent to her office in Tacoma. The letter warned that “ballot drops,” used in some states to collect...

Over 60 Antifa militants have been indicted under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act over the Atlanta “Cop City” riots and attacks on officers. The $90 million training facility, nicknamed “Cop City” by activists, will sit on 381 acres in the South River Forest, also known as the Weelaunee Forest. Anti-police militants and extremist environmentalists have been camping in trees and protesting on the grounds where the construction is meant to occur for over a year, claiming to be defending the forest. In March, the Atlanta Police arrested 23...

An Oregon judge ruled in favor of conservative journalist Andy Ngo’s claims that he was brutally assaulted by members of Rose City Antifa during a June 2019 protest in downtown Portland. Multnomah County Circuit Judge Chanpone Sinlapasai directed three defendants to individually compensate Ngo with $100,000, culminating in a total of $300,000 in damages, announced on Monday. The ruling is some "vindication" for Ngo, as a Portland jury found two other defendants listed in the same civil suit not liable for the assault on August 8. "It feels like some...
