President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Wednesday prohibiting federal funds from being allocated to public schools that promote critical race theory (CRT) or radical gender ideology. He also signed an order to combat the increase in anti-semitism that has been prevalent on college campuses since the October 7 attack on Israel by Hamas.

One day after the inauguration of President Donald Trump, who has said he would â€œremove the Jew haters” if reelected, Harvard University has settled two lawsuits accusing the Ivy League school of failing to protect Jewish students from antisemitic bullying and harassment on campus.

In the settlement with the Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights Under Law, Jewish Americans for Fairness in Education, and Students Against Antisemitism — a group of six Jewish students — Harvard agreed to make several changes to how it addresses antisemitism on campus.

Aformer Cornell University student was sentenced Monday to 21 months in federal prison for threatening to rape Jewish students and behead their babies in a case that became an alarming symbol of rising antisemitic hatred on U.S. college campuses.

Patrick Dai, 22, of Pittsford, N.Y., must also serve three years of supervised release after he finishes his prison term, the Justice Department said.

Officials said that Dai’s threats went beyond the free speech protections of the First Amendment and created a hostile environment for Jewish students.

The New York home of Columbia University’s chief operating officer Cas Holloway was found vandalized with red paint and Nazi and Hamas imagery — as well as insects — on Thursday, Aug. 8. Inverted triangles, which have been used by Hamas to identify Israeli targets and Nazis to tag prisoners during the Holocaust, were painted on the entranceway to Holloway’s apartment building. “Columbia unequivocally condemns vandalism, threats, and personal attacks,” a University spokesperson said in a statement. “Anyone engaging in such activity will be reported to law enforcement and face...

District Judge Richard Stearns ruled Tuesday that a lawsuit filed against Harvard accusing the university of antisemitism can proceed, saying “the facts as pled show that Harvard failed its Jewish students.”

Harvard was sued in January over its campus environment and the handling of protests after the Oct. 7 Hamas attack against Israel, saying Jewish students were harassed and the school did not address the issue adequately.

Donald Trump seems determined to convince voters that Vice President Kamala Harris is antisemitic. She’s not, and the former president’s attacks are as ugly as they are false, but the Republican appears preoccupied with pushing this line anyway.

During a speech last week, for example, the GOP nominee falsely said his likely Democratic rival is “totally against the Jewish people” — a curious claim about someone who’s married to a Jewish person — and as the Associated Press reported, Trump went even further yesterday.

CLAIM: J.D. Vance backs antisemitic “replacement theory,” votes against Israel, and won’t oppose antisemitism.

VERDICT: FALSE. All of these are lies circulated by pro-Israel Democrats losing the battle within their own party.

A group calling itself “Democratic Majority for Israel,” which is trying (and failing) to keep the Democratic Party pro-Israel, reacted to the nomination of Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) as former President Donald Trump’s running mate by casting him as an antisemite who won’t support Israel. Their propaganda is currently being shared on social media.

Three Columbia University administrators were removed from their positions for engaging in text messages that "disturbingly touched on ancient antisemitic tropes," university officials said in a letter Monday. The big picture: Columbia was propelled into the spotlight for being a catalyst to nationwide protests on college campuses over the Israel-Hamas war, and administrators faced scrutiny for how they handled the demonstrations. ‱ The university is also dealing with investigations over alleged antisemitic and anti-Palestinian discrimination.
