U.S. Border Patrol encountered over 250 migrants who were on the terrorist watchlist over a two-year stretch, with at least 99 of them released into the country, according to a Congressional report released Monday.

The claims have been made by the Republican-led House Judiciary Committee in a new report, which blames the Biden administration for allowing suspected terrorists from three dozen countries into the U.S.

The Biden administration has caught and released at least 99 illegal immigrants whose identities matched the terrorism watch list, according to a congressional report Monday.

They were caught by the Border Patrol along the southern border from 2021 through 2023 and were subsequently released as part of the Biden administration’s more relaxed approach to immigration, the House Judiciary Committee said.

Another 34 illegal immigrants flagged by the watchlist were still being held as of June.

As the Middle East braces for yet another retaliatory strike on Israel from Iran, critics have flagged a Biden administration policy that freed up an estimated $70 billion in funding for the Islamic theocracy since it took office.

The cash provides extra breathing room for the Islamic regime, which has coincided with its proxies' continued strikes on U.S. bases and support for terror groups in their fight against Israel.

President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris were briefed in the White House Situation Room on Monday after a suspected rocket attack against a military base in Iraq left a number of US personnel injured.

Biden, 81, said he discussed ā€œdevelopments in the Middle Eastā€ with his national security team, according to a post on his X account which did not acknowledge the latest attack on US troops in the region.

Two new polls show Vice President Kamala Harris narrowing the gap with Donald Trump in Pennsylvania, a key swing state.

A survey of Pennsylvania voters by the Commonwealth Foundation, a think tank based in the state, found that 47 percent would vote for Harris if the election were held today, while 46 percent would vote for the former president.

Of the 7 percent who responded "other" or "none of the above" to the question, 24 percent said they lean toward Harris if they had to choose between the two, while 15 percent leaned toward Trump.

President Biden formally unveiled his planned overhaul of the Supreme Court on Monday — with a clear eye on limiting the powers of former President Donald Trump should he succeed him.

The commander-in-chief took the unusual step of unveiling his major planned policy steps in a newspaper op-ed, with the Washington Post helpfully telling readers: ā€œThe writer is president of the United States.ā€

The president laid out three main changes to the court — which he said is ā€œmired in a crisis of ethicsā€ — including term limits and a binding code of conduct.

Kamala Harris has raised $200mn for her White House bid in less than a week, her campaign said on Sunday, as the vice-president hopes that the surge in funding will boost her chances against Donald Trump.

The announcement came as the duel between Harris and Trump on the campaign trail intensified.

US President Joe Biden ditched his re-election bid and endorsed the vice-president to succeed him just a week ago, in a move that radically reshaped the race.

Elon Musk’s embrace of Donald Trump can be traced in part to a snub by President Biden.

In early 2021, the new Biden administration began making plans to implement its campaign promises to boost electric vehicles.

At the time, Musk’s Tesla produced about two-thirds of the EVs on U.S. roads. But Tesla is also the only major U.S. car manufacturer that doesn’t have unionized factory workers, and some of its labor practices were under scrutiny by federal regulators.

MSNBC’s Joy Reid said Black people who vote for former President Trump over Vice President Harris, the likely Democratic nominee, are ā€œgoing to look real crazy.ā€

ā€œGiven just the stratospheric entrance of Vice President Kamala Harris into the presidential campaign, and she has now secured enough delegates to become the nominee, you’re going to look real crazy being on the other side of that line, particularly as a person of color, but really as anyone who claims to have any connection to the culture,ā€ Reid said in a video posted to TikTok.
