Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., took the Coachella stage on Saturday to deride President Donald Trump and "billionaires" to the crowd of luxury music festival-goers.

Sanders, a self-described Democratic socialist, introduced the performance of Clairo, praising the 26-year-old artist, whose real name is Claire Cottrill, for her political activism. He was joined by Rep. Maxwell Frost, D-Fla., who the 83-year-old Sanders noted is the youngest member of Congress, and "in my view, one of the best members."

Despite her failed 2024 presidential run, former vice president Kamala Harris says Americans haven’t seen the last of her.

ā€œWe can’t go out there and do battle if we don’t take care of ourselves and each other. I’ll see you out there. I’m not going anywhere,ā€ Harris said Thursday during a rare public appearance since she lost the November election.

Just when you thought Democrats couldn't outclass themselves after Rep. Jasmine Crockett referred to Texas Gov. Abbott as "hot wheels", here comes California to make sure you're always entertained.

A new California ballot initiative, named after alleged UnitedHealthcare CEO killer Luigi Mangione, has been filed with the state Attorney General. It seeks to ban insurers from delaying, denying, or altering any doctor-recommended treatment that could risk serious harm, including death or permanent injury, according to KTLA.

Susan Spira called her insurer days after the Los Angeles wildfires destroyed her family’s home—only to be told her policy had been canceled. The reason: In the chaotic days after the house burned to the ground, her monthly premium hadn’t been paid.

ā€œI nearly fell apart,ā€ she said. Spira, a real-estate lawyer, fought back and the insurer, California’s Fair Plan, agreed her Pacific Palisades house was covered when the infernos sparked.

Council members also proposed mandating companies inform workers of their rights amid increased immigration enforcement. LOS ANGELES—The City Council approved a package of motions Wednesday aimed at protecting legal and illegal immigrants in Los Angeles amid a federal crackdown on illegal immigration and threats to so-called sanctuary cities.

As the battle over President Donald Trump’s executive order ending birthright citizenship heats up, the administration is cracking down on an underground industry in California where Chinese nationals pay money to baby brokers who get pregnant Chinese women into the country so their babies are born U.S. citizens.

Officials say these couples are often housed in luxury apartments or large mansions in the suburbs of Los Angeles, which neighbors call ā€œbaby farms.ā€

Democrats are relying on a recent memo from the Government Accountability Office to argue that President Donald Trump and congressional Republicans can't pass a bill repealing a Biden-era waiver allowing California to mandate electric vehicles in the state. But legal experts say the memo—whose authors include a prominent DEI activist—isn't legally binding and relies on dubious reasoning.

An azure jewel set more than a mile high, deep in the High Sierra, Lake Tahoe is California’s most highly curated and micromanaged natural asset. Even among the state’s many famous landmarks, Tahoe is beloved and revered. The 2-million-year-old lake, famed for its deep blue color, sits in a basin encircled by steep forests. Despite the region being somewhat difficult to reach, about 15 million visitors from around the world flock there every year — three times more than Yosemite National Park. Its beauty is also its vulnerability: Buffeted by...
