CNN is getting heat for letting  "Cuomo Prime Time" host Chris Cuomo go unpunished for advising his brother, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, not to step down amid sex misconduct allegations now that a probe determined the governor sexually harassed multiple women. 

Attorney General Letitia James announced Tuesday an investigation found that the Democrat governor harassed current and former staff members from 2013 to 2020.

CNN anchors Don Lemon and Chris Cuomo are launching a new CNN podcast called “The Handoff,” the network announced Tuesday.

The podcast will be posted weekly and will only be available to subscribers to CNN’s Apple Podcast channel.

The show will mimic the discussions — or handoffs — that Lemon and Cuomo have each evening between “Cuomo Primetime,” and “CNN Tonight,” the latter of which is hosted by Lemon.

Earlier this month, CNN's Prime Time host Chris “Fredo” Cuomo told his viewers couldn’t talk about his brother, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s (D) nursing home deaths and sexual harassment scandals on ethical grounds because he’s family. But it’s difficult to see how that ban on Cuomo chatter could hold after a Wednesday bombshell report from the Albany Times-Union found Andrew had allegedly prioritized COVID-19 testing for his family, including Chris.

CNN anchor Chris Cuomo on Monday publicly addressed the mounting sexual misconduct allegations against his brother, New York governor Andrew Cuomo, saying that he “obviously” can’t cover the numerous accusations and resulting political backlash because they are family-related.

From the get-go Wednesday, CNN host Chris “Fredo” Cuomo telegraphed that he wasn’t going to take his interview with disgraced, former FBI agent Peter Strzok seriously. “They were the text messages that launched everything from conspiracy theories to congressional investigations. Not to mention more than 50 presidential tweets and countless hours of programming on state TV, a.k.a. Fox,” he mocked.

Of course, he would! Strzok was there to peddle his anti-Trump book alleging Russian collusion, something the FBI investigation didn’t find.

White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany singled out CNN host Chris Cuomo for criticizing the president's use of hydroxychloroquine.

CNN’s Chris Cuomo on Wednesday night broke down why President Donald Trump and his allies routinely play down the importance of testing for the coronavirus, contrary to guidance from public health officials.

“It is dishonest and destructive and it is done by design,” Cuomo said.

For Trump, he continued, it was all about hiding the truth about the pandemic, which has so far killed more than 73,000 people nationwide. The United States has more confirmed cases than any other country in the world.

CNN hosts Chris Cuomo and Don Lemon joked with each other about Cuomo’s coronavirus diagnosis Tuesday evening, with Lemon later getting emotional over the news.

Cuomo is still hosting “Cuomo Prime Time” in his basement following testing positive for the novel coronavirus. Lemon spoke with Cuomo at the start of “CNN Tonight” and the joked, with Lemon poking fun at Cuomo for not wearing a suit.

“I’m too sick,” Cuomo said. “Christina said it didn’t look right for me to be sick in a funereal suit … It’s too much like what I might be buried in.”

Turn on the TV these days and you are bound to catch one of the Cuomo brothers inveighing against the “selfish.” Chris Cuomo on CNN harangues any one who dares suggest that America restart its economy, while Andrew Cuomo delivers lectures on the importance of staying home lest one expose the elderly to illness. Both brothers have inherited their father’s penchant for high and moralistic rhetoric. They have also inherited his incoherent moral philosophy.
