House Democrats are vowing to hit back at an effort to advance a conservative political agenda in the event former President Donald Trump wins his White House bid, The Hill is reporting.

The effort by conservatives is called Project 2025, which touches on nearly every facet of American life, the news outlet said. The policy changes proposed include the elimination of certain federal agencies, and filling positions in all departments with those attuned to conservative causes.

Yesterday’s announcement of the abrupt closure and dissolution of FreedomWorks by its board of directors is the closest thing we will get to a formal date of death for the Tea Party movement, which in truth has been dead since Donald Trump descended the escalator at Trump Tower in June 2015. Trump did for the Republican establishment what it couldn’t do on its own in killing the Tea Party and its demands for small, constitutional government.

Lauren Southern is one of the alt-right’s nastier pieces of work, a troll who tells white people there is a plot to replace them with immigrants who will undermine the foundations of civilization and who is prone to doing repugnant, idiotic things like handing out flyers that say “Allah is gay,” or saying Hitler “fawned over Muslims more sycophantically than Justin Trudeau.” She is something of a specialist in anti-Muslim bigotry. Southern insists she is not a racist, but even the conservative Times of London seemed skeptical of that, saying after an

People on the left and right use the term “girlboss” in wildly different ways. On the left, it’s a term of empowerment to praise women who have a take-charge attitude and successful careers. On the right, it serves as a derogatory term, suggesting that modern women pursue careers and materialism at the expense of what is considered the most important role — marriage and family.

The Daily Wire reportedly sought out a gag order against their ex-staffer Candace Owens after she called for a debate against Daily Wire Editor Emeritus Ben Shapiro.

The conservative outlet allegedly attempted to privately receive a gag order as Shapiro and Daily Wire CEO Jeremy Boreing simultaneously argued over when to hold a debate against Owens, according to award-winning journalist Glenn Greenwald’s Locals newsletter. The outlet has not announced the gag order publicly.

Natalie, a 28-year-old in Arizona, collects screenshots of people’s dating app profiles in a folder on her phone, including one person’s list of qualities they don’t want in someone they’re dating: being vaccinated, being liberal, being bisexual, and not wanting kids.

“It seems like the apps are filled with very much mostly conservative men,” Natalie says. “Like not being super conservative is a dealbreaker right away.” Natalie considers herself independent, with more liberal views on reproductive rights and more moderate views on topics like immigration.

Women to the Left, men to the Right. And heaven forbid there is any crossover. These days, young people are floundering in their sex-based political silos wanting different things: girls are still seeking equality and boys miss being the good guys. This isn’t a battle of the sexes — we’re too far apart to fight.

Recently, I wrote a piece at The Federalist titled “Hell Hath No Fury Like A Single Liberal Woman,” based on my own experience as a former liberal, and offered some explanation as to why single women make up such a large proportion of the Democrat Party. And why, as Jesse Kelly commented, many of those women seem to be somewhat mentally unstable. Based on comments in my inbox and on social media, the piece was fairly well received. Well, mostly well received.

Reactionary as I am, it gives me no pleasure to report that conservatism is finished. As Britain struggles with the exhausted death-spasms of liberal Toryism, the only subset of Right-wing thought in the West today that doesn’t feel moribund is actively anti-conservative. The liveliest corner of the Anglophone Right is scornful of cultural conservatism and nostalgia, instead combining an optimistic view of technology with a qualified embrace of global migration and an uncompromising approach to public order.

When conservative icon Matt Schlapp announced Tuesday that the sexual battery and defamation lawsuit against him had been dropped, he and his allies were quick to note that the ordeal ended without him or the American Conservative Union—the right-wing organization he runs—paying his accuser a single dollar.

But what Schlapp didn’t disclose was that the Republican operative who sued him was, in fact, paid to drop the lawsuit, according to two people with knowledge of the payout. It was just that the money came from ACU’s insurance company, these two people told The Daily Beast.
