You were right. You knew you were right. They knew you were right. They knew you knew you were right. And now we know. There’s proof. The “Twitter Files” confirm that behind the cloak of the algorithm, liberal employees of the tech giant were turning a nature preserve into their personal petting zoo, hiding the Hunter Biden laptop story, shadowbanning dissenting voices, and kicking a sitting president off the platform contrary to their own protocols.

Big surprise: The Twitter Files — the reports based on internal Twitter documents and messages that the company’s new owner Elon Musk provided to journalists — have landed as a polarizing salvo in the culture war.

The Florida college freshman who operated a Twitter account that monitored Elon Musk’s private jet flights blasted the tech mogul as a “full-on hypocrite” after learning the account had been suspended.

Jack Sweeney was alerted to the suspension of the @Elonjet account by The Post when reached early Wednesday morning.

“This is insane,” 19-year-old Sweeney told The Post. “My phone’s going f–king nuts.”

Less than a month after taking control of Twitter, Elon Musk said addressing child sexual exploitation content on the social media platform was “Priority #1.”

But there is little evidence that the company is taking more aggressive action under his management or putting more resources toward the platform’s long-running problem with child sexual exploitation content, according to interviews with four former employees, one current employee, internal company records and interviews with people who work to stop child abuse content online.

Elon Musk’s Twitter has dissolved its Trust and Safety Council, the advisory group of around 100 independent civil, human rights and other organizations that the company formed in 2016 to address hate speech, child exploitation, suicide, self-harm and other problems on the platform.

The council had been scheduled to meet with Twitter representatives Monday night. But Twitter informed the group via email that it was disbanding it shortly before the meeting was to take place, according to multiple members.

Last night, Elon Musk celebrated the release of a new entry in the “Twitter Files” series, which aims to
Well, that’s complicated. It’s a supposed transparency project from Musk that, to date, has included giving two independent writers access to internal Twitter communications, as well as to the company’s Slack channels. So far, they’ve produced two threads, each totaling about 30 tweets, purporting to show how Twitter’s executives have schemed and colluded to censor political speech for partisan gain.

Twitter owner Elon Musk claimed on Monday in a series of tweets that Apple had threatened to remove the Twitter app from the App Store as part of its app review moderation process.

“Apple has also threatened to withhold Twitter from its App Store, but won’t tell us why,” Musk tweeted.

Business magnate Elon Musk concurred with conservative filmmaker and author Dinesh D'Souza's assertion that censorship on Twitter has been a one-way street that targets conservatives, but not leftists.

"We don’t hear much about Democrats and leftists being let back on Twitter. Why? Because they were never kicked off in the first place. Their lies and misinformation simply escaped all scrutiny. Censorship has been deployed as a one-way operation against conservatives," D'Souza tweeted on Monday, tagging Musk.

"Correct," Musk replied on Tuesday.

Elon Musk invoked the memory of his late infant child when explaining why he won’t allow conspiracy theorist Alex Jones back onto Twitter.

Jones, the host of the popular Infowars podcast, repeatedly told his millions of followers that the 2012 Sandy Hook massacre, in which 20 first-graders and six educators were killed, was a hoax that was staged by “crisis actors” to enact more gun control.
