The Daily Wire reportedly sought out a gag order against their ex-staffer Candace Owens after she called for a debate against Daily Wire Editor Emeritus Ben Shapiro.

The conservative outlet allegedly attempted to privately receive a gag order as Shapiro and Daily Wire CEO Jeremy Boreing simultaneously argued over when to hold a debate against Owens, according to award-winning journalist Glenn Greenwald’s Locals newsletter. The outlet has not announced the gag order publicly.

It seems that Candace Owens’ increasingly bizarre conspiracy theories are too much for even the Daily Wire. The right-wing media outlet and Owens said Friday that they’ve parted ways.

Owens confirmed the development on social media and pointed followers to her presence on YouTube, where she has millions of followers.

“The rumors are true— I am finally free,” she wrote on X, formerly Twitter. “There will be many announcements in the weeks to come.”

The tweet was punctuated with emoji of the U.S. flag and a cross.

Candace Owens has declared that she "cannot be silenced," following the announcement that she has been fired from her role at the Daily Wire.

"Daily Wire and Candace Owens have ended their relationship," Daily Wire CEO Jeremy Boreing wrote in a post shared on X, formerly Twitter, on Friday morning.

Owens reposted the statement on her own X account shortly after it was shared.

The Daily Wire is parting ways with Candace Owens after the right-wing firebrand spent months attacking Israel in increasingly heated terms and embracing bizarre conspiracy theories.

“Daily Wire and Candace Owens have ended their relationship,” co-founder and CEO Jeremy Boreing announced Friday on X. He did not provide any additional information on Owens’s termination. Owens reposted Boreing’s announcement and directed followers to her website and YouTube channel.

Michael Knowles touched off a firestorm with his call for an end to the ideology of transgenderism Saturday, but many people on social media agreed with him – especially after hearing what he actually said and not the erroneous claims by leftist media sites.

Knowles told a crowd at the conservative event, formally known as the Conservative Political Action Conference, that men simply cannot become women, and women cannot become men, adding that society must help gender dysphoric people, not encourage them to seek sex changes.

The right’s war on queer and trans people took center stage at the Conservative Political Action Conference as Daily Wire host Michael Knowles on Saturday called for the eradication of “transgenderism.”

During his speech on Saturday, Knowles told the crowd, “For the good of society
transgenderism must be eradicated from public life entirely — the whole preposterous ideology, at every level.”

From the speeches at this year's Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), it would be easy to assume that transgender issues were the most pressing subject in American politics. In speech after speech, panel after panel, speakers hammered home the dangers of "gender ideology" and the importance of banning underage gender transitions and keeping school sports and bathrooms sex-segregated.

Two days after Hershey's Canada debuted its controversial International Women's Day ad campaign featuring a transgender woman, The Daily Wire co-founder Jeremy Boreing announced he is competing with the candy company by launching his own brand.

On Friday, Boreing released a 49-second commercial on Twitter introducing Jeremy's Chocolate, strongly encouraging people to stop supporting "woke chocolate companies that hate you."

Taking a swing at the newly-released Hershey's "Her for She" wrapper, he showcased two milk chocolate bars labeled "HeHim" and "SheHer."
