Former President Trump on Thursday challenged President Biden to another debate, this time with no moderators. 

In a Truth Social post, Trump requested a "no holds barred" and "all on" discussion with Biden about the future of the country. 

President Joe Biden said he plans to stop scheduling events after 8 p.m. so that he gets more sleep.

Biden’s remarks, first reported by The New York Times, came as a result of his performance debating former President Donald Trump last week. He sought to reassure a small group of Democratic governors amid growing calls to step aside from the presidential race.

The 81-year-old has reportedly acknowledged that he “screwed up.”

President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump traded barbs and a variety of false and misleading information as they faced off in their first debate of the 2024 election.

Trump falsely represented the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol as a relatively small number of people who were ushered in by police and misstated the strength of the economy during his administration.

Why did anyone think Joe Biden was ready for a 90-minute presidential debate? One reason is that a small handful of journalists, with left-leaning sympathies but very credible records, have interviewed him and those close to him in the White House and returned with reports that while he’s definitely older, he’s still pretty sharp and in charge.

Georgia’s largest newspaper became the second in the country to plead with President Joe Biden to step aside and embrace “the shade of retirement.”

The Atlanta Constitution-Journal’s front page editorial came as NBC News reported that Biden is expected to discuss the future of his re-election campaign with family at Camp David on Sunday.

While a discussion was expected, both the president and First Lady Jill Biden have signaled they intend to stay in the race and brush off the shaky debate performance the 46th president suffered on Thursday night.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution (AJC) is calling for President Biden to step out of the presidential election after his debate debacle on Thursday night.

The AJC Editorial Board is publishing a front page editorial Sunday arguing that Biden should bow out of the election "for the good" of the country and to defeat former President Trump.

"The shade of retirement is now necessary for President Biden," the board wrote.

Another major newspaper is calling for a presidential candidate to leave the race, but it’s not President Joe Biden.

“The debate about the debate is misplaced. The only person who should withdraw from the race is (Donald) Trump,” the Philadelphia Inquirer’s editorial board wrote Saturday.

The Inquirer says, yes, Biden’s debate performance was a disaster.

President Biden’s campaign said in a memo Saturday that his poor showing in Thursday night’s presidential debate “did not change the horse race.”

“Flash polls from CNN, 538, SurveyUSA, Morning Consult, and Data for Progress show what we expected: The debate did not change the horse race,” Biden campaign Chair Jen O’Malley Dillon said in the memo. “This mirrors what the campaign’s internal post-debate polling showed: The president maintained his support among his 2020 voters and voters’ opinions were not changed.”
