Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said Wednesday that the state will carry out a manual hand recount of ballots cast during the Nov. 3 election in the midst of allegations of voter fraud, mismanagement, and irregularities.

“This will help build confidence. It will be an audit, a recount, and a recanvas all at once,” Raffensperger, a Republican, stated at a press conference. “It will be a heavy lift.”

With only about 14,000 votes separating President-elect Joe Biden and President Donald Trump in battleground Georgia, the state is heading into a recount of presidential votes.

Trump and Biden were locked in a tight contest on Friday, with the Democrat edging ahead, to get the 270 electoral votes needed to win the presidency. For Trump, Georgia is a state he must win.

For months, Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has been a good soldier for the Democratic Party and Joseph R. Biden Jr. as he sought to defeat President Trump.

The far-left Washington Post reports that if Joe Biden wins the presidential election, he intends to bring back the Obama era phone and pen approach with a flurry of executive orders.

“President-elect Joe Biden is planning to quickly sign a series of executive orders after being sworn into office on Jan. 20, immediately forecasting that the country’s politics have shifted and that his presidency will be guided by radically different priorities,” the far-left Post reports, and does so inaccurately by referring to Joe Biden is “president-elect.”

Amajority of likely U.S. voters think race relations in the country will either get better or stay the same over the next generation, according to a new Just the News Daily Poll with Scott Rasmussen.

Nearly 70 percent of them feel that way: 48% believing relations Americans will get better and 21% percent believing they will at least not get worse.

Less than one-fifth of voters, meanwhile, 19%, believe they will get worse.

City commissioners in Portland, Oregon on Thursday rejected a budget amendment that would have slashed another $18 million from the Portland Police Bureau amid months of racial justice protests and shifted the money to the city’s pandemic response.
