President Trump has once again floated the idea of testing the Constitution's presidential term limits by seeking a third term, as his administration continues to challenge constitutional provisions and push an expansive view of executive power.

After telling NBC News that he's "not joking" about the possibility and that there are "methods" that would allow him to serve a third time, Trump declined to confirm to reporters aboard Air Force One on Sunday that he's planning to leave the White House after his second term ends on Jan. 20, 2029...

President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Tuesday strengthening the integrity of America’s elections, delivering on a key campaign promise.

Trump said that the executive order would ā€œgo a long way toward endingā€ election fraud in the country and that further actions from the administration would be forthcoming in the coming weeks.

It was only a matter of time before The Musk/Trump regime attacked the very election system that allowed them into power. The goal here is to disenfranchise as many people as possible, the Constitution be damned.

Before I get into the executive order itself, I understand this is blatantly unconstitutional. It violates federalism (states run elections) and separation of powers (Congress can still pass laws about elections and voting). Those pesky considerations matter very little to the architects of Project 2025 and possibly even enough members of the Extreme Court.

Comedian Bill Maher and former Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) got into a heated exchange over President Trump’s efforts to overturn the result of the 2020 election. ā€œIf you’re talking about the use of force to achieve your political goals, I think it’s somewhat on topic,ā€ Gaetz said while appearing on Maher’s ā€œClub Randomā€ podcast and video show. ā€œAnd it’s not like the left doesn’t do a version. I mean, they should not have been b——- about Trump is not a legitimate president. That was wrong,ā€ Maher agreed. ā€œIt’s very different...

Despite Trump's win, 'election integrity' activists still seek sweeping voting changes For Donald Trump and his supporters, concerns about election administration quickly dissipated once it became clear he would win the 2024 presidential election, and in surveys since, most Republican voters say the election was run well. But for the wing of the Republican Party that has been pushing sweeping election reform since the 2020 contest, the work continues. On Jan. 3, the day the new Republican-led Congress was sworn in, Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, reintroduced legislation aimed at stopping...

Friend of the show, Marilyn Marks - executive director of the Coalition for Good Governance - joined me for a wall-to-wall conversation on election integrity in the state of Georgia. First, on the day President Carter left Georgia to be eulogized in the nation's capitol, Marilyn shared a story from Carter's political launch when he overcame a party "boss" ballot-stuffing on behalf of Carter's state senate opponent. Pretty funny (now) story, actually. She also deftly pointed out Carter's pro-consumer (and business!) deregulation of the freight and airline industries.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) recently released a report finding that three senior DOJ officials leaked information regarding a non-public investigation just days before the election.

The Office of the Inspector General released a report on Monday, December 30th, detailing an investigation into the officials following a complaint alleging that DOJ officials were ā€œpolitically motivatedā€ to disclose information pertaining to a private investigation.
