Since the nation’s founding, the fabric of American society has been woven with deeply racist policies that directly harm Black, Indigenous, and other people of color. These policies have led to an unequal system where marginalized communities have been systematically locked out of opportunities in jobs, education, and housing.

Systemic Equality is a racial justice agenda that seeks to address America’s legacy of racism and systemic discrimination through advocacy efforts and legal strategies that aim to ensure equal access and opportunity for all.

American women are having fewer children and having them later than ever before — a demographic shift being met with significant consternation from the left and right alike.

For conservatives, the fact that more women are putting off parenthood or forgoing it entirely is evidence of a dangerous decline in traditional family values. In this framing, women have been manipulated into putting their educational and professional aspirations ahead of motherhood, contributing to a broader cultural breakdown.

We are not the same. Neither men, nor women, nor races, nor ages, nor nationalities, nor in wealth, nor in training, nor in beauty. We are not equal in any way. And that is a reason to be proud and happy, because at the end of the day we are human and not the product of some factory. Let us once and for all praise difference, bless the inequality that makes some people prefer beer and others water (because otherwise there would be a shortage of beer, and that would cruelly condemn us bohemians to discovering what water tastes like).

Robert De Niro’s ex-assistant has filed a counter-lawsuit against the actor following his company’s $6 million August suit alleging in part that the former employee watched 55 episodes of Friends over four days while on the job. Graham Chase Robinson, who was once De Niro’s assistant, but eventually became vice president of production and finance at his production studio, alleges in her lawsuit that the A-list actor treated her as his “office wife,” giving her “female duties like housework” despite her upward movement inside the company.
