Former President Donald Trump said late on Friday that he agreed to a debate against Vice President Kamala Harris, who hours earlier had secured enough delegate votes to become the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee, but they did not seem to agree on a host.

The latest clash between candidates began with a post to Truth Social.

Former President Donald Trump on Friday said he would no longer participate in a September debate on ABC, opting instead to accept Fox News’ offer to debate Vice President Kamala Harris on Sept. 4. The former president said the ABC debate was agreed to when President Joe Biden was the presumptive Democratic nominee “but has been terminated in that Biden will no longer be a participant.” Trump also cited his active defamation lawsuit against ABC and the network’s anchor George Stephanopoulos, though that lawsuit had already been filed for months...

Rupert Murdoch is locked in a secret legal battle against three of his children over the future of the family’s media empire, as he moves to preserve it as a conservative political force after his death, according to a sealed court document obtained by The New York Times.

Mr. Murdoch, 93, set the drama in motion late last year, when he made a surprise move to change the terms of the Murdochs’ irrevocable family trust to ensure that his eldest son and chosen successor, Lachlan, would remain in charge of his vast collection of television networks and newspapers.

Rupert Murdoch is engaged in a legal fight with some of his children, as he tries to hand control of his media empire to his eldest son, Lachlan, a battle with major ramifications for the future of the mogul’s two companies.

Murdoch, 93 years old, controls a trust that holds the family’s substantial stakes in News Corp NWSA 1.06%increase; green up pointing triangle, parent of The Wall Street Journal, and Fox News parent Fox Corp. Under its terms, when Murdoch dies, voting control would pass to four children—Lachlan, James, Elisabeth and Prudence.

Rupert Murdoch is involved in a legal battle with his children over his plans to hand over his global media empire to son Lachlan, according to a report.

The fight for power between the 93-year-old mogul's four eldest children appeared to be decided when Lachlan emerged as the designated heir.

But Murdoch is now fighting to extend his eldest son's voting power in the Murdoch Family Trust, the New York Times reported.

President Biden addressed the nation Wednesday from the Oval Office for the first time since announcing over the weekend that he was withdrawing from the 2024 race and passing the torch to Vice President Kamala Harris.

Fox News chief political analyst Brit Hume reacted to the roughly 11-minute address, saying he doesn’t quite buy Biden’s reasoning for dropping out of the presidential race.

Populist television host Lou Dobbs, who once considered a run for the presidency, has died at the age of 78. His legacy of defending America’s working and middle class from Wall Street, open borders, and the donor class is more evident than ever in today’s politics. Dobbs was known for his TV segments that waged war against free traders — the class of economists and politicians who defended opening the United States economy to rapid globalization that ultimately cost millions of American jobs across working- and middle-class communities in the...

Two months ago, Hunter Biden sent a "cease and desist" letter to Fox News demanding that they retract false stories that they have been disseminating for more than a year about President Biden's son. Never mind that the network never had a shred of evidence to support their libelous "reporting." Of course, lacking evidence has ever stopped Fox News from lying to smear their political opponents before.

Hunter Biden is going on the offensive when it comes to Fox News. The president’s son, who was recently found guilty of three felony counts related to a 2018 gun purchase, sued the network in state court for airing intimate images of him without his consent. He argues it violated New York’s so-called revenge porn law. “Fox published and disseminated these Intimate Images to its vast audience of millions as part of an entertainment program in order to humiliate, harass, annoy and alarm Mr. Biden and to tarnish his reputation,”...

Lawyers for Hunter Biden, the Biden son clouded by personal controversies and a recent conviction for lying on a form to buy a gun, filed a lawsuit against Fox News on Monday over a miniseries they had posted and then taken down from their digital streaming service.

The program, titled "The Trial of Hunter Biden," was a six-part docuseries released in 2022 that featured a "mock trial" about overseas financial dealings that landed him in a federal tax indictment.
