American energy dominance was an important theme in President Donald Trump's address to a joint session of Congress on Tuesday. "As you heard me say many times, we have more liquid gold under our feet than any nation on earth, and by far, and now I fully authorize the most talented team ever assembled to go and get it. It's called drill, baby, drill," he said. Energy policy in the 45 days of the Trump administration has indeed followed this mantra. On his first day in office, the president signed...

As part of its continued war on the “Green New Deal,” the Trump administration ordered states to end a multi-billion dollar program to build electric vehicle chargers along interstate highways. On Thursday, the Federal Highway Administration released a memo directing states to halt the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure program, a $5 billion provision under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law signed by former President Joe Biden in 2021. The law also included another $2.5 billion for EV chargers in communities and neighborhoods.

Vice President Kamala Harris has attracted heightened attention, including from critics and the media, amid continued bipartisan questions about President Joe Biden’s fitness for office after his roundly criticized debate performance June 27. On July 7, during “Fox News Sunday,” host Shannon Bream asked Rep. Byron Donalds, R-Fla., about former President Donald Trump possibly running against Harris, rather than Biden, in November. Donalds expressed confidence that Trump would find material to use against Harris in the campaign.

Experts are warning that the state of Hawaii’s ruling against oil companies is a “stalking horse” for effectively forcing Americans to live under the Green New Deal. The warnings come as the U.S. Supreme Court considers taking up the case after the companies filed an appeal over the ruling. Some of the justices on the Hawaii Supreme Court have cited the “spirit of Aloha” in their rulings, which critics say is clear mockery directed at the U.S. Constitution. The city of Honolulu claimed in its lawsuit that oil companies like...

The U.S. Supreme Court is considering whether to take up a case that has one side claiming a "hyper-ideological" Hawaii court is threatening to "strong-arm progressive lifestyle choices" on Americans nationwide by blessing a lawsuit aimed at holding some of the biggest fossil fuel companies liable for climate change. In 2020, the city of Honolulu sued several major fossil fuel companies, including Exxon and Chevron, claiming the companies’ products cause greenhouse gas emissions and global warming without warning consumers about the risks. The city employed a series of state laws...

Flanked by her fellow progressive legislators, House New York Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez unveiled a sweeping set of proposed reforms yesterday under the banner of a “Green New Deal” for public housing, reviving a favourite if outworn slogan of the Left.

During the third Republican presidential debate, candidates invoked the “Green New Deal” and the “Keystone pipeline” — both staples of Fox News’ misleading coverage of climate and energy issues — in response to the moderators' questions around the Venezuelan regime and the rising cost of living in the U.S. Through Fox’s relentless coverage of the Green New Deal beginning in 2019, the proposal has become synonymous on the right with socialism and often misapplied to any climate policy. Similarly, Fox has made the canceled Keystone pipeline a symbol of Biden’s...

President Biden may have joined striking United Auto Workers Tuesday, but he may not have been much help to blue-collar workers given the administration's pivot toward green energy and electric vehicles, a top Republican lawmaker said. Rep. Byron Donalds, R-Fla., critiqued Biden's overall tenure in office as rife with political posturing, a lack of actual leadership and "continued weakness." "Joe Biden should be at the southern border, sealing our southern border, stopping the flow of drugs coming into this country," he said on "The Story" as Biden instead brushed close...
