Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives will defend a narrow majority in the Nov. 5 elections. Below are some of the races to watch as Republicans and Democrats battle through 2024 for control of the chamber.

Voters in Oregon and Kentucky head to the polls on Tuesday, where they’ll vote in their state’s presidential and congressional primaries. In Georgia and Idaho, voters will decide on congressional races and a handful of local races.

On Thursday, Idaho voters head back to the polls for the Democratic caucus. Trump previously won Idaho’s Republican caucus in March.

Southern Baptist congregations saw growth in baptisms, worship attendance and small group participation in 2023, while membership decline slowed compared to recent years, according to the Annual Church Profile (ACP) compiled by Lifeway Christian Resources. Terroir Bistro, a brick-and-mortar expansion of Terroir food trailer, plans to take over the former Little Pearl Oyster Bar space at 160 N. 8th St. Little Pearl recently consolidated operations next door.
