A predawn Israeli strike on al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza City, the last major hospital providing critical healthcare in northern Gaza, has sparked condemnation in Palestine and across the world as Israel continues to attack healthcare facilities.

Israel on Sunday claimed it struck a Hamas command and control centre at the hospital, without providing evidence, while Hamas denied the allegations.

A hospital in Gaza was intentionally hit by the Israeli military on Palm Sunday prompting widespread condemnations from Christian groups in the Middle East.

The Israeli Defense Forces claimed in a statement Sunday that it had dismantled an alleged Hamas "command and control center" operating inside the al-Ahli Hospital.

Claiming it held a "command and control center used by Hamas," Israel chose Palm Sunday to bomb the only Christian hospital in war-shattered Gaza. It was also the last fully-functioning hospital in Gaza City. No casualties from the bombing per se were reported by Gaza's civil emergency service. However, a child who'd been hospitalized for a head wound died from "the rushed evacuation process," said the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem, which runs the al Ahli Arab Hospital. The diocese is part of the Anglican Church.

Yesterday’s much-discussed debate between Douglas Murray and Dave Smith, hosted by Joe Rogan, almost perfectly epitomises the divide on the political Right. Murray is a neoconservative intellectual and one of the most prominent public defenders of Israel; Smith is an anti-war libertarian comedian and firm anti-Zionist. The conflict in Gaza has provided a clear fault line for their differences to be exposed.

Mike Huckabee, a staunch ideological ally of Israel, was confirmed by the Senate to serve as the United States’ ambassador to the country on Wednesday.

The former Arkansas governor and two-time presidential candidate was tapped by President Donald Trump for the post just after the November election. He has never previously worked in a diplomatic or national security role for any U.S. administration.

U.S. Gov't Says Immigrants May Face Visa Denial Over 'Antisemitic' Social Media Posts

The new policy says 'antisemitic activity on social media' could be grounds for denying visas, but the definition of antisemitism remains vague. 'We already know that this move is not genuinely about protecting American Jews,' progressive Jewish group head said

Microsoft terminated the employment of two software engineers who protested at company events Friday over the Israeli military’s use of the company’s artificial intelligence products, according to documents viewed by CNBC.

Ibtihal Aboussad, a software engineer in the company’s AI division who is based in Canada, was fired Monday over ā€œjust cause, wilful misconduct, disobedience or wilful neglect of duty,ā€ according to one of the documents.

The funeral of 14-year-old Palestinian-American Amir Mohammed Rabee was held Monday in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, one day after the dual national from New Jersey was shot and killed there. Two other teenage boys, one whose family told CBS News he is also a U.S. citizen, were shot but survived.

Rabee's father told CBS News on Monday that his son's siblings live in the U.S., but that Amir and his parents were living in Turmus Ayya, in the central West Bank, where the teenager was attending school.
