Ivanka Trump's testimony allowed New York prosecutors to enter key documents into evidence in her family's fraud trial. Former president Donald Trump's eldest daughter testified Wednesday that she did not recall nearly any of the loan terms or negotiations, even when shown email conversations she took part in at the time, but her participation in those communications allowed prosecutors to enter those documents as evidence the judge may consider, reported MSNBC's Lisa Rubin. "Some of those documents, as I have already noted, are damning," in a piece of news analysis...

Ivanka Trump is scheduled to take the witness stand in the New York courtroom of Judge Arthur Engoron at 10 AM ET. Daily Kos will be providing live coverage of her testimony. Ivanka was a part of negotiations for several of the properties and deals involved in the case. In particular, she was key to connecting with Deutsche Bank and negotiating terms of loans. Ivanka was originally named as a defendant in the fraud case filed by New York Attorney General Letitia James, along with her brothers. However, a state...

Her father gave caustic testimony. Her brothers each spent more than a day on the witness stand.

Now it’s Ivanka Trump’s turn to face questioning in the civil fraud trial that is publicly probing into the family business. Ex-President Donald Trump’s eldest daughter, who has been in his inner circle in both business and politics, is due on the stand Wednesday, after trying unsuccessfully to block her testimony.

The Lincoln Project appears hopeful Ivanka Trump's testimony on Wednesday in her father's New York fraud trial will do the former president no favors.

The group, conceived by a number of former Republicans and vocal Donald Trump critics, released an ad this week taunting Trump over his daughter's upcoming testimony.

"You're embarrassing to her. Uncomfortable. Gross," the ad's narrator says as a variety of Ivanka and Donald Trump images pass by.

Wednesday is hump day, famously. It’s that midweek push where you just gotta grit your teeth, send the kids off to school, fly to New York from Florida, testify in your dad and brother’s civil fraud trial about what you knew and when you knew it, and just hold on until the weekend. As today proves, it’ll be Fri-yay soon enough. Ivanka Trump, as a parent who has long worked and traveled all over the world—including over weekdays!—in her capacity as one of her father’s senior advisers during his one-term...

Former President Donald Trump is on trial in New York in a $250 million lawsuit that could alter the personal fortune and real estate empire that helped propel Trump to the White House. Trump, his sons Eric and Don Jr., and Trump Organization executives are accused by New York Attorney General Letitia James of engaging in a decade-long scheme in which they used "numerous acts of fraud and misrepresentation" to inflate Trump's net worth in order get more favorable loan terms. The trial comes after the judge in the case...

(Photo by Drew Angerer/Getty Images) Former President Trump's daughter, Ivanka Trump, filed an appeal Wednesday in an attempt to get out of testifying in her father's ongoing civil fraud trial. The big picture: The move comes after Ivanka Trump's testimony was postponed this week to Nov. 8 to allow enough time for her to be questioned and to give her a chance to...

Ivanka has filed notice that she will make another attempt not to testify in a $250 million fraud trial brought against her family's company. In a on Wednesday, Trump gave notice that she would appeal New York Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron's ruling that , even though she was dismissed as a party in the case. Ivanka's father, former President Donald Trump, has Engoron for ordering his daughter to testify. His adult sons Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump were also expected to testify.

Former President Donald Trump and his three oldest children are taking the witness stand over the next two weeks. Starting Wednesday, the legal team for the New York attorney general will call up members of the Trump family to testify in a civil trial that alleges fraud was knowingly committed by the Trump Organization and Trump himself. Donald Trump Jr., who is a vice president of the Trump Organization, is slated to testify first, followed by his younger brother Eric, another vice president of the family’s landmark business. Both, alongside...

Donald Trump's sons are taking center stage at the $250 million civil fraud trial against the Trump family and their company in New York this week, with Donald Trump Jr. taking the stand Wednesday.

The oldest son of the former president is expected to be grilled by lawyers from state Attorney General Letitia James' office about his involvement in and knowledge of financial statements the attorney general alleges were grossly inflated.
