Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, who ran for president in 2016, questioned the indictment that the Manhattan grand jury issued against former President Trump on Thursday, saying the jury in deciding the case should be “the voters.”

Bush, the brother of former President George W. Bush, tweeted on Saturday that the case against Trump over the hush-money payment that former Trump attorney Michael Cohen made to adult film star Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 presidential election is “very political” and not based on justice.

Jeb Bush has joined other Republicans in criticizing Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg over his indictment against former President Donald Trump. “Bragg’s predecessor didn’t take up the case. The Justice Department didn’t take up the case. Bragg first said he would not take up the case,” Bush wrote on Twitter on April 1. “This is very political, not a matter of justice,” he added. “In this case,...

Former President Donald Trump has tapped a former staffer of then-Florida Governor Jeb Bush’s unsuccessful 2016 presidential bid to lead his efforts in New Hampshire in 2024. Politico reported that Trevor Naglieri, who served as a field coordinator for Bush in 2016, will get an even higher position for Trump’s third presidential campaign: New Hampshire state director. While Trump handily won the New Hampshire primary in 2016, he lost the state in the general election in both 2016 and 2020. The move by the former president to hire a former...

Former President Donald Trump has hired a former Jeb Bush campaign operative to be the New Hampshire state director of his 2024 presidential campaign. Trevor Naglieri will lead Trump’s New Hampshire operation, two Republican operatives familiar with the matter told Politico on Tuesday. He is the Trump campaign’s second hire in the state, following former NH GOP Chair Steve Stepanek. (RELATED: Trump Warns Of ‘Potential Death And Destruction’ In Wake Of Indictment) Naglieri was once a field coordinator for Jeb Bush’s 2016 presidential campaign and later worked for Republican Texas...

Former President Donald Trump is turning to a veteran of his bitter 2016 rival Jeb Bush as his campaign seeks to gain a stronger foothold in New Hampshire. Trevor Naglieri, who worked as a field coordinator for Bush and then as a national field director for Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) in 2016, will assume the post of state director for the Trump campaign's New Hampshire operations, Politico reported. Naglieri has done occasional work for Republican consulting firm Axiom Strategies, the head of which, Jeff Roe, has gone all in for...

One of the primary benefits of being a first-term incumbent president is that you don't have to worry about a primary challenge. Traditionally, the incumbent is able to focus all their energy on the general election, while, of course, maintaining their presidential duties.

But former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, who ran for the Republican presidential nomination in 2016, says a Republican should challenge Trump in 2020.

Former Gov. Jeb Bush isn't changing his mind about voting for Donald Trump, even after a visit to his office from Trump's running mate, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence.

"The governor's position on Trump remains the same, and he will not be voting for him or Hillar

A reflective Jeb Bush said he had no regrets Thursday about his failed presidential bid, saying in his first interview since leaving the race that Donald Trump could still lose the nomination fight.

"There's a possibility that he won't get 50% on the first ballot," Bush told CNN's Jamie Gangel, giving his first television interview exclusively to CNN after dropping out of the presidential race in February. "And if he doesn't do that, there are a whole lot of people who don't believe he's the proper guy."
