Katie Couric intentionally withheld the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s dislike for people who take a knee in protest of racial justice during the national anthem, according to reports from Ms. Couric’s new memoir out later this month.

The journalist admitted to trying to “protect” Ginsburg by editing out comments she made about the kneeling controversy during a 2016 interview that Ms. Couric, a former host of NBC’s “Today” show, was doing for Yahoo News.

Yahoo News will continue to employ Katie Couric as its global anchor despite evidence that documentaries she executive produced and narrated were deceptively edited.

“Yahoo was not involved in the creation and production of the independent documentaries, Under the Gun and Fed Up,” a Yahoo spokesperson who did not want to be identified told the Washington Free Beacon. “We’re confident in the work of the Yahoo News team, which adheres to the highest standards of journalism.”

The other day, former CBS News darling Katie Couric was speaking at an event organized by something called "TheWrap." Specifically, at its "Power Women Breakfast" in New York. (That is exactly the kind of event I'd expect Couric to be at, and I don't even know what it is.)

She was asked about the scandal swirling around her anti-gun-documentary — specifically, the fact that she deceptively edited a gun rights group's response to a question to make the members seem like dangerous idiots.

Just one week after Katie Couric took blame for a deceptive edit in an interview she had with pro-gun activists, she’s facing accusations that she deceptively edited yet another film.

As WND reported, Couric is said to have edited the first documentary video, “Under the Gun,” in an attempt to embarrass Americans who support gun rights.

But several people familiar with the making of another documentary, “Fed Up,” tell the Washington Free Beacon that Couric, the producer of the film, edited it to embarrass individuals who were interviewed.

The Weinstein Company, which owns the distribution rights for 2014’s Fed Up, requested that two interviews at the center of accusations that the Katie Couric-produced and narrated documentary used deceptive editing be removed from Youtube.

Fed Up, which focuses on obesity and the food industry, was directed by Stephanie Soechtig and produced by Couric. The film includes two interviews with figures who hold viewpoints counter to the narrative of the film, and sources say both interviews include at least one misleading or deceptive edit intended to embarrass the interviewee.

A conservative news site posted what it said was audio proof that filmmakers behind a documentary about the gun control debate deliberately edited video to portray gun-rights activists as unable to answer questions about background checks.

The audio, posted by The Washington Free Beacon on Wednesday, seemed to differ from the video shown in the documentary, “Under the Gun,” in which a group of activists appear to fall silent during an interview with the news anchor Katie Couric.
