Republicans and Democrats alike are finding more and more reasons to dislike the candidate representing their respective parties aiming for the White House in November. Each party still has its die-hards. There are Democrats who still fully believe in President Joe Biden despite the recent debate with Donald Trump. Meanwhile, Trump's MAGA supporters are ready to see him through to the Oval Office in spite of his recent 34 felony convictions. For every gathering of die-hards, there is a group who believes the opposite. Political action committee The Lincoln Project...

The Pew Research Center released polling this week that casts serious doubt on recent surveys showing Donald Trump making significant gains among Black and Latino voters. The Pew survey suggested majorities of Latino, Black, and Asian voters continue to largely favor the Democratic Party. The results show very little change among Black and Latino Americans since the early 1990s, while white voters remain almost exactly as aligned with the Republican Party as they were in the early ‘90s. "Not much 'racial realignment' in these Pew numbers," Vanderbilt political science professor...

Lincoln Project co-founder Steve Schmidt offered a stern warning about President Biden's re-election chances on Monday, suggesting his campaign is currently in a "death spiral" with less than nine months until the 2024 election. In a Substack post titled "There will be no excuse for surprises this time," Schmidt criticized the Democratic Party and said the vast majority would rather get in line, stay in line and smile in line rather than tell the American public the truth about Biden. He also called the notion that Biden is the strongest...

The Lincoln Project appears hopeful Ivanka Trump's testimony on Wednesday in her father's New York fraud trial will do the former president no favors.

The group, conceived by a number of former Republicans and vocal Donald Trump critics, released an ad this week taunting Trump over his daughter's upcoming testimony.

"You're embarrassing to her. Uncomfortable. Gross," the ad's narrator says as a variety of Ivanka and Donald Trump images pass by.

Anti-Republican super PAC the Lincoln Project congratulated President Joe Biden for creating "one of the strongest economies in American history" even as the nation approaches its second consecutive quarter of negative growth in gross domestic product.

Biden has had an "enormously successful first 18 months in office," the Lincoln Project claimed on Monday in a rosy assessment of the president's performance that's at odds with the majority of Americans who blame Biden for record inflation.

The Lincoln Project indicated late Monday that it is giving current and former staffers the freedom to speak out about their experiences working for the anti-Trump organization as an investigation into co-founder John Weaver's conduct gets underway.

In a statement posted on Twitter, the group announced that it has hired the law firm Paul Hastings to oversee its ongoing review of sexual harassment allegations against Weaver, who has been accused by more than 20 young men -- including former Lincoln Project employees -- of sending sexually-charged messages.

Last June, the Lincoln Project was on a high.

Led by several prominent former Republican consultants, its slickly produced ads attacking President Donald Trump made it perhaps the best known of the so-called Never Trump organizations. The group tried to claim a higher moral ground in an effort to purge Trump from the GOP. Money flowed in by the tens of millions of dollars from donors eager to help.

But within the organization, a crisis was brewing.
