On April 7, Facebook pulled the plug on the censorship of "independent fact-checkers," replacing it with a "Community Notes" approach, like Elon Musk's X uses. No one was more upset than the censorious left-wing "fact" police.

Angie Holan, the leader of the Poynter Institute's International Fact-Checking Network, marked "International Fact-Checking Day" by proclaiming they are needed now more than ever: "Fact-checking holds the line on reality for history's sake. It builds evidence-based records that can withstand political pressures."

We are being treated to what the CIA called a "modified limited hangout" as they try to recover their credibility after the systematic failures and lying that have disgusted the less self-deluded members of the public.

Over the past decade or more, the formerly "mainstream media" engaged in a series of lies, hoaxes, campaigns of slander against disfavored peoples and movements, and coverups of Democrat scandals. Having been exposed, members of this priesthood of the cult are busy explaining why they got it so wrong.

A federal judge on Tuesday ordered the Trump administration to restore The Associated Press’s access to key White House spaces after it exiled AP reporters over the organization’s refusal to use “Gulf of America” in its popular stylebook.

U.S. District Judge Trevor McFadden, an appointee of President Trump, directed the White House to resume allowing the AP into the Oval Office, Air Force One and other limited spaces when they’re made available to other press pool members.

The White House violated the Constitution for barring the Associated Press from Oval Office events, according to a federal judge’s ruling Tuesday.

U.S. District Judge Trevor N. McFadden, a Trump appointee, said that the White House acted against the First Amendment, which prohibits discrimination based on viewpoints, by blocking the longtime publication’s access over its refusal to use the term "Gulf of America."

District Court Judge Trevor McFadden issued a ruling on Tuesday stating that the court was granting the AP’s “relief” after it filed a lawsuit in February in response to being hit with limited access to presidential events and places such as Air Force One and the Oval Office, according to CNBC. McFadden argued that the AP’s exclusion from the press pool and certain spaces is “contrary to the First Amendment.”

Last week, ABC, CBS, and NBC spent nearly 100 minutes covering leaked messages from a private Signal chat for Trump administration officials, in just the first 96 hours after the messages were published. But those same networks spent only 13 minutes covering the actual military operation that was discussed in those leaked messages.
