The best and worst days to fly Memorial Day weekend NerdWallet analyzed the past three years (2022, 2023 and 2024) of Transportation Security Administration checkpoint data for the six days...

Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) said on Sunday he expects to pass President-elect Trump’s agenda through one big reconciliation package before Memorial Day. In an interview on Fox News’s ā€œSunday Morning Futures,ā€ Johnson reiterated that Republicans will try to pack in as many policy items as possible into a large reconciliation bill, which avoids the 60-vote threshold necessary to pass most legislation in the Senate. Reconciliation legislation requires a simple majority, or 50 votes, in the upper chamber. ā€œWe’re 15 days out from the inauguration of President Donald J. Trump for...

House Speaker Mike Johnson told Fox News on Sunday he hopes to have what Presdient-elect Donald Trump might describe as one ā€œbig, beautiful billā€ to sign by May as the GOP attempts to enact much of Trump’s agenda with a single piece of legislation. That could be a hard sell with a slim House majority and the fact the bill would have to make its way through the Senate before it could ultimately find its way to Trump’s desk early in his coming term. On Sunday Morning Futures, anchor Maria...
