A teenage boy was shot in the back multiple times Thursday afternoon in Miami Gardens, according to reports. Police are now trying to track down four suspects. Around 2:30 p.m., a 15-year-old was walking with a group of four men when someone shot him in the 3800 block of Northwest 164th Avenue, Local 10 News reported. The teen, who was not identified, was airlifted to Ryder Trauma Center. His condition is unknown. CBS News Miami spoke with a neighbor who called 911. She said the teen was scared. “He was...

That was the message from coach Billy Donovan on Thursday now that the Bulls know their fate to reach the postseason. Thanks to a 127-105 blowout of the Pistons in Detroit, Donovan & Co. locked up the No. 9 seed and will host Atlanta in next week’s No. 9 vs. No. 10 play-in game at the United Center. “I’m just a big believer that whoever is out there playing (the final two regular-season games) there has to be an attention to detail,” Donovan said of his team. “That’s the one...

ST. PAUL, Minn. — One more for a perfect ten. Tristan Broz scored with 8:51 remaining in overtime to help the University of Denver shrug off a slow start and defeat Boston University, 2-1 in the first semifinal of the 2024 NCAA Frozen Four at Xcel Energy Center. The Pioneers will play Saturday against the winner of Boston College or Michigan in the championship game with a chance to claim an NCAA-best 10th title. Broz snapped a wrist shot along the ice on a 3-on-2 rush to set off the...

Pedro Marcos Raymundo knows what it’s like to work in hazardous conditions. Since moving to South Florida in 2014, the Guatemalan man has worked in electricity, plumbing, any construction work he can find. During roofing jobs, he often won’t be able to get down to get a drink of water or rest in the shade. Under the heat of the sun, headaches and stomach pains set in. The metal roof sheets and building supplies get hot, burning his skin. Raymundo works without helmets, rope or harnesses. “As undocumented workers, we...

Nearly 19 million people watched on as Dawn Staley and the South Carolina Gamecocks bested the Iowa Hawkeyes in the women’s NCAA championship game on Sunday afternoon. Not a stranger to making sports history, Staley became the first Black coach to have an undefeated season in the NCAA Division 1 and the only Black coach to win three national titles. As I was doing squats, rows, leg lifts with the game on in the background, I mentally transported back to my childhood when promotion for the WNBA was heavy. I...

A bill that would prevent investigations of local law enforcement by civilian review boards was formally sent Wednesday to Gov. Ron DeSantis. The measure (HB 601), which the Legislature passed last month, would affect at least 21 cities with civilian review boards. Cities including Daytona Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Fort Pierce, Gainesville, Key West, Kissimmee, Lakeland, Miami, Orlando, Pensacola, St. Petersburg, Tallahassee, Tampa and West Palm Beach have had such boards. Supporters of the boards say they can delve into complaints about alleged police wrongdoing.

Department of Homeland Security personnel raided the residences of rap mogul Sean Combs amid a plethora of allegations of sex trafficking and other offenses.

Raids were carried out in properties belonging to Combs, known professionally as Diddy, in Miami and Los Angeles. The raids were carried out on a warrant from New York, according to the Department of Homeland Security.

Over the last few months, a legendary name in the music world has faced a series of shocking allegations of sexual abuse.

In civil lawsuits, four women have accused Sean “Diddy” Combs of rape, assault and a litany of other abuses, dating back three decades. One of the allegations involved a minor. The claims sent shock waves through the music industry and put Combs’ entertainment empire in jeopardy.

Now, the hip-hop mogul’s legal troubles have worsened considerably.

Hip-hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs, 54, has not landed in the Caribbean island of Antigua despite reports he could have arrived there aboard a private jet, the island's Prime Minister Gaston Browne told Newsweek.

"There is no credible information that he is here. To the contrary, he did not arrive on the flight yesterday to Antigua," Browne said in a message.

Sean “Diddy” Combs was spotted outside a Miami airport slowly strolling back and forth on Monday just hours after two of his homes were raided by federal authorities, according to a report.

The rapper was alone and appeared to be holding a cell phone in one hand while he stuffed his other hand in his pocket while pacing outside Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport on Monday evening, according to footage obtained by TMZ.
