A 2002 letter written by Osama bin Laden attempting to justify the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks he masterminded has been spreading on TikTok, and some users are drawing connections between the letter and the Israel-Hamas war. The ā€œLetter to Americaā€ went viral after TikTok users began linking to a copy that was translated and published by The Guardian in November 2002. The left-wing British newspaper has since removed the letter because the page in question now says, ā€œthe text was had been widely shared on social media without the full...

Dozens of young Americans have posted videos on TikTok this week expressing sympathy with Osama bin Laden, the notorious terrorist who orchestrated the September 11 attacks, for a two-decade-old letter he wrote critiquing the United States, including its government and support of Israel.

A decades-old document allegedly written by Osama bin Laden and titled "Letter to America" recently went viral on TikTok, with some young Americans believing that the al-Qaeda founder made valid points about their own country.

The two-page document, which was published by The Guardian, is a letter Bin Laden wrote in 2002 as a polemic against the U.S. and an explanation of the ideology that led him to orchestrate the 9/11 attacks.

Young Americans are embracing and promoting Osama bin Laden's "Letter to America" – a document from 2002 that attempts to justify the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. Osama bin Laden's letter to U.S. citizens was released just over a year after the 9/11 terror attacks that took the lives of nearly 3,000 Americans. The document from the al Qaeda leader reveals bin Laden's grievances toward Western nations' involvement in the Middle East. The radical Islamist also lambastes the United States for supporting the state of Israel. The al Qaeda...

The al-Qaeda terrorist mastermind's letter went viral this week on the platform. A Republican lawmaker suggested that the U.S. ban social media app TikTok after videos showed people showing sympathy for a letter written by slain terrorist leader Osama bin Laden amid the Israel–Hamas conflict. In one video with about 1 million views, a TikTok user claimed that ā€œeverything we learned about the Middle East, 9/11, and ā€˜terrorism’ was a lie.ā€ However, some on social media have criticized the trend and said al-Qaeda and bin Laden were, in part, responsible...

The text of an inflammatory ā€œletter to Americaā€ from 9/11 mastermind Osama bin Laden has gone viral on TikTok and drawn praise from young users – and US lawmakers from both sides of the aisle are blasting the China-owned app for promoting ā€œterrorist propaganda.ā€ In the letter, bin Laden claimed that he orchestrated the deadly attacks on the World Trade Center that killed nearly 3,000 Americans because the US ā€œattacked us in Palestine.ā€ The terrorist also described the creation of Israel as a ā€œcrime which must be erased.ā€ The Guardian,...

Al Qaeda leader Ayman al Zawahiri, a founding member of the jihadist movement and one of the key strategists behind an international campaign of terror that culminated in the 9/11 attacks on the U.S., has been killed in a drone strike in Afghanistan, U.S. congressional officials said. He was 71.

One of the key masterminds behind the 9/11 attacks was killed by U.S. forces in Afghanistan, according to the White House.

Ayman al-Zawarhi, the Egyptian militant who assumed leadership of the Al Qaeda terror group after the death of Osama Bin Laden, was killed in a drone-strike over the weekend, President Joe Biden said in a primetime announcement to the nation.

Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle praised the White House on Monday after it was announced that the leader of al Qaeda, Ayman al-Zawahiri, had been killed by a drone strike in Afghanistan.

Republicans and Democrats alike were quick to commend President Biden for taking action against the 71-year-old terrorist. Zawahiri, a one-time surgeon, had led al Qaeda since the 2011 death of Osama bin Laden.
