The holidays are gone and with them the lavish spreads of meat and cheese, but if you overbought and still have some ready-to-eat charcuterie in your fridge, you may want to check to make sure it hasn't been recalled.

On Wednesday, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service announced a recall of approximately 11,097 pounds of Busseto Foods charcuterie products due to possible salmonella contamination.

Toyota is recalling one million vehicles over a potential airbag defect.

The company said Occupant Classification System (OCS) sensors in the front passenger seat may have been manufactured improperly, potentially short-circuiting and causing the airbag not to deploy.

Recalls cover 2020 to 2022 Toyota and Lexus models. Affected Toyota models include Avalons, Camrys, Highlanders, RAV4s, Siennas and Corollas. Affected Lexus models include ES250, ES300H, ES350, RX350 and RX450h.

Tesla (TSLA.O) is recalling over 2 million vehicles in the U.S. to install new safeguards in its Autopilot advanced driver-assistance system, after a federal safety regulator cited safety concerns.

The largest-ever Tesla recall appears to cover nearly all vehicles on U.S. roads to better ensure drivers pay attention when using the system. Tesla's recall filing said that Autopilot's software system controls "may not be sufficient to prevent driver misuse" and could increase the risk of a crash.

Tesla will recall more than two million vehicles over concerns its Autopilot system can be misused by drivers, amid a two-year probe by U.S. auto-safety regulators into crashes involving the driver-assistance technology.

The recall covers some Tesla Models 3, S, X and Y sold in the U.S. between 2012 and 2023, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said Tuesday.

One person died and 10 others were hospitalized from an outbreak of listeria that has been tied to whole peaches, nectarines and plums, federal health officials said. 

On Thursday, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued a food safety alert that 11 people across seven states had been affected by the outbreak strain of listeria linked to HMC Group Marketing, Inc., which does business as HMC Farms.

The death occurred in California, CDC data showed.

Cooks have been warned of a ground beef recall hitting thousands of pounds of meat—amid fears that it may be "contaminated with a foreign object."

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced details of the recall on Sunday, revealing that about 5,620 pounds of raw ground beef must be either returned to the place of purchase or destroyed. The meat had been shipped to eight states across the U.S.

U.S. health officials are warning doctors to be on the lookout for possible cases of lead poisoning in children after at least 22 toddlers in 14 states were sickened by lead linked to tainted pouches of cinnamon apple puree and applesauce.

Children ages 1 to 3 were affected, and at least one child showed a blood lead level eight times higher than the level that raises concern, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said.
