Jennie Allen has had a front-row seat to much of the revival unfolding across America, particularly among young people.

She’s been speaking on college campuses and witnessing Gen Z’s rising interest in faith and the Bible.

“It is so real,” Allen recently told CBN News from the red carpet of the KLOVE Fan Awards in Nashville, Tennessee. “There’s no hype. They actually are hungry for God. It’s been the most beautiful thing.”

This year we witnessed a powerful move of the Holy Spirit across college campuses, beaches, prisons, and churches – so much so that 2023 could be dubbed a "Year of Revival." It could even point to the beginning of what many have called a spiritual awakening in America. 

Faith leaders have testified that "revival is happening" in pockets across the U.S. spanning different age groups, denominations, and backgrounds. 

'The Asbury Awakening'

Hundreds of people are having their lives changed by the powerful saving grace of Jesus Christ as a "move of God" continues into its second week at Free Chapel Church in Gainesville, Georgia.

What began as a two-night special revival service on October 23rd with special guest Evangelist Perry Stone, Jr. extended into its 10th night on Wednesday, and those who have taken part in "what the Spirit of the Lord" is doing say "God is not done with America, the Church, or the Next Generation."

Celebrated Christian singer Michael W. Smith believes “something’s happening” regarding revival and spirituality, referencing the many moves of God he sees unfolding in culture right now.

“God is on the move,” he told Christian Headlines. “I’m so grateful that I’m alive to get to see it.”

Smith, who was recently in Vietnam performing at the Spring Love Festival, said he also sees signs of spiritual resurgence unfolding across the globe.

What will be the impact of the Asbury Revival that's spreading across America? Will it lead to another Great Awakening?

For weeks, the Asbury Revival has been spreading to college campuses and churches across the country.

So is America on the verge of another great spiritual awakening?

Today’s college students know their generation can be skeptical—cynical, even—when it comes to big Christian movements. Young believers recognize that claims of God at work can be faked or manipulated, so they would rather ask questions and do their research before adding their “yes and amen” to the cause.

For Generation Z, this sense of discernment can be a strength when it comes to how they approach the revivals taking place on college campuses across the US this month.
