Congress is investigating two security incidents that allegedly occurred on the days when President Donald Trump made his two most recent speeches at the U.S. Capitol this year, at least one involving a gun and another raising concerns about whether a metal detector was evaded, a House official told Just the News.

House Administration Committee Chairman Bryan Steil, R-Wis., disclosed on Monday night that the reported incidents have been referred for investigation to the U.S. Capitol Police Inspector General's office. 

A controversy erupted today as conservative commentator Laura Loomer identified NPR White House reporter Danielle Kurtzleben as the journalist allegedly involved in an incident where President Donald Trump was struck in the face with a boom microphone. The incident, which reportedly occurred on a tarmac during a press interaction on Friday night, has ignited a firestorm of speculation about Kurtzleben’s political leanings and her role as a newly appointed White House correspondent.

President Donald Trump said on Friday he is “immediately revoking” Joe Biden’s security clearance and pulling his access to daily intelligence briefings, exacting payback four years after the former president had done the same to him.

“There is no need for Joe Biden to continue receiving access to classified information,” Trump posted on Truth Social.
