Andrew Tate, an internet influencer known for spreading deeply misogynistic views, was reportedly arrested and detained in Bucharest, Romania, on Thursday in connection with a human trafficking investigation.

Romanian police executed search warrants and arrested four suspects ― two British and two Romanian nationals ― with suspected involvement in human trafficking, rape and forming an organized crime group, according to the country’s Directorate for Investigating Organised Crime and Terrorism.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki said she feels that sexism and racism have contributed to the intensity of criticism faced by Vice President Kamala Harris.

"I do think that it has been easier and harsher from some in the right wing who have gone after her because she is the first woman, the first woman of color. I’m not suggesting anyone will acknowledge that publicly," Psaki said during an appearance on Politico's "Women Rule" podcast Wednesday.

As Vice President Kamala Harris contends with intense scrutiny over her handling of the border crisis and other key issues, members of her staff are experiencing low morale and struggling to communicate with top staffers, according to multiple reports on Wednesday.

Communication issues and distrust between aides and senior officials on Harris’ team, including her chief of staff Tina Flournoy, have contributed to a "tense and at times dour office atmosphere." Politico reported, citing interviews with 22 current and former aides. 

When Vice President Kamala Harris finally made the decision to visit the Mexico border last week, people inside her own office were blindsided by the news.

These charges are under investigation.

Max Temkin, co-founder of Cards Against Humanity, has stepped down from the company amid accusations of a racist and sexist culture in the Chicago office.

The company posted a statement on its website Tuesday announcing Temkin resigned June 9 following an internal investigation into social media posts by former employees about a toxic work environment. Many of the complaints centered around Temkin, who led the Chicago office, the company said.
