Snopes, another in a long line of fake fact-checking sites, attempted to suggest that Elon Musk and his Starlink internet system lost contact with the missing Titanic submersible.

Here was the Snopes headline: “Was the Missing Titanic Submersible Relying on Satellites from Elon Musk’s SpaceX to Communicate?”

And to that blatantly stupid question, Snopes declaratively said… TRUE [emphasis original]:

Snopes.com has shifted its “fact check” on the news that the Biden administration would be offering free crack pipes as part of a $30 million program from “mostly false” to “outdated” — the latest move in a remarkable drive to make the story just go away.

It all started when The Washington Free Beacon broke the news, citing public documents. As meme-makers went wild, social media circled the wagons to try to protect the Biden administration.

The liberal fact-checking website Snopes raised eyebrows for appearing to contradict itself regarding the controversy surrounding the Capitol Hill riot story from U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. 

The New York Democrat this week offered an emotional account of what she said she experienced Jan. 6, repeatedly telling her Instagram followers that she thought she was going to die after hearing banging outside her office door.
