Two people have been shot in Philadelphia’s Spring Garden neighborhood as the city gathered in the streets for the Philadelphia Eagles’ Super Bowl victory parade Friday afternoon.

Police said that the shooting occurred at 23rd and Spring Garden Streets, near the parade route, and it is currently unclear what led up to the shooting or the condition the victims are in, per CBS News.

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. All of Philadelphia is celebrating the Eagles Super Bowl LIX win over the Kansas City Chiefs and not even a massive head wound from a beer can is slowing General Manager Howie Roseman down. More News: Philadelphia Police Do 'Tush Push' During Eagles Super Bowl Parade Roseman was left bloodied after being struck in the forehead by a stray beer can during the team's Super Bowl parade. Plenty of Philadelphia Eagles are likely to wake up tomorrow with their heads pounding, likely none more than Eagles' GM Howie Roseman. The man who pieced together Philly's Super Bowl-winning team took a beer can to the forehead earlier Friday as the City of Brotherly Love celebrated the Eagles' Super Bowl LIX win with a parade. Small price to pay for the right to house the Lombardi Trophy. If a cut on the forehead courtesy of a beer can is the cost of doing business, something tells me Roseman would...

Despite increasing backlash, Philadelphia Eagles safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson doubled down on his hate towards Taylor Swift . The Super Bowl 2025 champion — who once played alongside Jason Kelce , whose brother Travis Kelce dates the superstar — wore a sweatshirt to the team’s victory parade on Friday, Feb. 14 that read: “Swifties can LIX my balls.” This followed a post on Monday, Feb. 10 in which Gardner-Johnson posted an Instagram Story mocking Travis, insinuating he should have stayed with his ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole rather than date Swift to win...

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley is having the time of his life at the Eagles Super Bowl parade, but he is making lifetime memories for others, too. To start off his day, Barkley hoisted the Lombardi Trophy. But later on the parade route, he spotted a three-year-old girl, Lucy Bannon, with a sign saying it was her third birthday. Barkley picked the girl up out of the crowd to take a photo with her. Barkley took photos with the girl for 20 seconds before continuing along the route. Later...

safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson might have had the final say in a back-and-forth with Taylor Swift fans. Arriving in Philadelphia for the Eagles’ parade on Friday, the NFL player went on Instagram Live to show off his custom hoodie. The shirt, directed at loyal fans of the global pop star, read, "Swifties can LIX my b---s." Philadelphia Eagles player CJ Gardner-Johnson has sparked controversy at the Super Bowl victory parade by wearing a provocative custom sweatshirt mocking Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. The sweatshirt bore the message "Swifties can LIX my balls", with LIX being the Roman numerals for 59 - referencing the Eagles' Super Bowl triumph. The bold display came as thousands of Eagles supporters gathered in Philadelphia for Valentine's Day celebrations following their team's victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.

Philadelphia Eagles safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson pulls no punches. He is a player known for his trash-talking and trolling on and off the field, and Gardner-Johnson continued that during the Eagles Super Bowl parade. Gardner-Johnson trolled Taylor Swift fans on Instagram Live, known as Swifties, after the team’s 40-22 win once, and at the parade, he wore an NSFW hoodie that is trolling them again. “Swifties can LIX my balls," it read. Gardner-Johnson trolled Swift’s boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, after the game on Instagram. So, this is...

Now that the Philadelphia Eagles are Super Bowl champions for the second time in franchise history, fans of the team are celebrating Friday with a victory parade in the city. They'll also likely be enjoying some of the city's classic winning fare. Here are three iconic Philadelphia staple foods as described by native restaurateurs. The Philadelphia cheesesteak – known simply as a cheesesteak in the City of Brotherly Love – is the namesake food of America's former capital. Like the pizza debate in New York City or Chicago, the discussion...
