Teenage terrorists allegedly targeted as many as 20,000 Taylor Swift fans expected to gather outside the singer’s planned concerts at Vienna’s Ernst Happel Stadium in a plot to kill as many people as possible, authorities say. Swifties without tickets have begun a tradition of celebrating out front of stadiums on the Eras Tour where they can often hear the music even if they cannot see the superstar. Police in Austria believe a 19-year-old suspect planned to drive a car into the fans. In Munich last week, more than 40,000 of...

Both suspects in a foiled plot to attack Taylor Swift shows in Vienna appeared to be inspired by the Islamic State group and al-Qaida, Austrian authorities said Thursday, and investigators found bomb-making materials at one of their homes. Officials said one of the two confessed to planning to “kill as many people as possible outside the concert venue.”

The 19-year-old Austrian who masterminded a foiled plot to attack Taylor Swift fans at a concert in Vienna with a bomb or knife had pledged allegiance to the Islamic State militant group, authorities said on Thursday.

The main suspect, who has North Macedonian roots, made a full confession in custody, Austria's general director for public security Franz Ruf told a news conference.

Organizers have canceled three Taylor Swift concerts in Austria after authorities said they foiled a terror attack planned for the Vienna leg of her blockbuster Eras tour.

The extraordinary decision – which could come at significant cost to Vienna’s businesses – has devastated fans and renewed focus on the vulnerability of huge concerts as soft targets for terror networks and spree killers.

Police say they have narrowly foiled an ISIS plot to attack a Taylor Swift concert in Austria — and there could still be a threat to the super star’s European shows.

Two suspects — a 19-year-old living in his parents’ house near Vienna, along with another man — were arrested Wednesday after police raided the home, according to the Austrian outlet Kronen Zeitung.

A bomb squad found various chemicals and substances potentially being used to make explosives, and evacuated the home.

Taylor Swift turned part of her Eras Tour show in Poland into a duet! At the 14-time Grammy winner’s third and final Eras Tour show in Warsaw on Saturday, Aug. 3, Swift surprised the sold-out crowd by performing a mashup of The Tortured Poets Department track “The Black Dog” and folklore breakup song “exile” featuring Bon Iver . During Swift’s mashup on piano as part of the secret songs portion of the show, her fans stepped in to sing Bon Iver singer Justin Vernon’s “exile” verse and back-and-forth parts since...

Taylor Swift fans have a blank space on their ballots this year, and they're ready to write Kamala Harris' name. Swifties for Kamala -- a grassroots group of Taylor Swift superfans working to get Harris elected -- has quickly amassed a groundswell of support. The group got its start the same day President Joe Biden dropped out of the race, after Emerald Medrano, a 22-year-old fan from Texas, decided he and his fellow Swifties needed to jump into the action. "I feel like us U.S. Swifties should mass organize and...

The future of America is young, hopeful, and swift. On the day President Joe Biden dropped out of the 2024 presidential race and fully endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris, Emerald Medrano, a 22-year-old college student in Texas, ran to Twitter and posted: “I feel like us U.S swifties should mass organize and help campaign for Kamala Harris and spread how horrendous project 2025 would be to help get people’s butts down to the polls in November .” He added, “Like if we don’t want democracy to end we really need...

The claws have come out now that a video has resurfaced of Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio) talking about “childless cat ladies.” The statement by the Republican vice president nominee has garnered criticism from actress Jennifer Aniston and fans of Taylor Swift, known as Swifties. Aniston, 55, posted to her Instagram Stories a screenshot of a social media post in which Ron Filipkowski, editor-in-chief of the MeidasTouch Network, posted a “Tucker Carlson Tonight” interview with Vance from 2021, USA Today reported. “JD Vance says women who haven’t given birth like Kamala...

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. — Almost a year since Chiefs Tight-End Travis Kelce and global superstar Taylor Swift’s romance started, Swift's fans are now geared up for another football season. St. Joseph native Mariah DeSpain is one of the Swifties who has a ticket to training camp. She went to camp the first year it was in St. Joseph in 2010, but likes to think she is loyal to Swift first. “I guess you could say I was a Chiefs fan before Swiftie because I came out a Chiefs fan at...
