Though Biden cheered Holmes in 2015 for “maintaining the highest standards” in developing lower-cost blood lab tests with only a prick of blood, the establishment media ignored Biden’s praise for Holmes, who was found guilty of four charges of fraud Monday, and her failed invention.

The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and Washington Post ran headlines on Tuesday’s homepages about Holmes’ conviction of fraud without referencing within the stories the president’s involvement.

A jury in federal court on Monday found that Elizabeth Holmes had deliberately misled investors in Theranos, the company she started to revolutionize blood testing. The verdict follows a closely watched trial that stretched over almost four months.

The California jury in the criminal fraud case against Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes has found her guilty on four of 11 charges on its seventh day of deliberation to determine Holmes' fate.

The panel composed of eight men and four women convicted Holmes on one charge of conspiracy and three charges of fraud. They determined she was not guilty of a second conspiracy charge and not guilty on three fraud charges. They were unable to reach a unanimous decision on another three fraud charges. 

Former Theranos CEO Elizabeth Holmes has been convicted of four counts of fraud, but she was acquitted of four other charges. The jury said earlier they were deadlocked on the three remaining charges. 

Holmes showed no reaction as the verdicts were read, sitting alongside her defense team, CBS San Francisco reports.

A judge will determine her sentence at a later date. Holmes could now face up to 20 years in prison for each count.

Jurors in the criminal fraud trial of Elizabeth Holmes sent a note to the judge on Monday morning saying they could not reach a unanimous decision on three of 11 fraud charges against the former Silicon Valley executive.

The note, however, seemed to suggest that they all agree on at least eight counts. If that's the case, it puts to rest speculation that they couldn't reach a verdict at all, which would have led to a mistrial.

Federal prosecutors filed criminal charges against Theranos Inc. founder Elizabeth Holmes and the blood-testing company’s former No. 2 executive, alleging that they defrauded investors out of hundreds of millions of dollars and also defrauded doctors and patients.
